Picked up a vanilla lemon cake yesterday for my wife?s birthday. Paid $45 for it, got home and cut a few pieces out of the cake... and it had mould on the bottom and moulded spots on the inside of the cake. I have ordered for yrs from this place. No longer.. I purchased a cake for my husband birthday Jan 15th. I ordered a Strawberry... Romanoff Cake Lg it was $56. When we picked it up it looked beautiful. At time of party we had 18 people over. Cut the cake andit was PEACH inside.. How do you have peaches inside a Strawberry Romanoff cake?? I called the next morning to complain that itwas not what I ordered. I was told the boss would be in at 10 and would call me back. It has been 3 days and I have been tryingto call back each day with no one answering the phone. I have also left a message asking for a call back asap. No call as ofyet. TERRIBLE customer service. Order a cake and cupcakes for my daughters third birthday weeks in advance, told them the date and time I would be there to pick... up, when we arrived to get them, afternoon on her birthday, I was informed their pastry chef was in the hospital and they didnot have the cake or cupcakes and were "just going to call me." Extremely unprofessional, aparently only have one pastry cheffor all their locations (although I spoke to two different people about my order.) And couldn't even have the decency to call meand tell me they weren't going to make my order although this was already mid afternoon and she just didn't notice there were nocakes made for any orders that day. Also didn't say anything about giving me my money back until my husband mentioned it, juststood stairing at us. I've Ordered all my cakes and cupcakes for both my daughter second and sons first birthday and will NEVERbe going back there again and I do not suggest anyone else does either, unless you want to be very disappointed and hung out todry.
