Used to love this place until last night. My partner and I came in and had to use the restroom first. One of them was out of... order so we used the same restroom and came out to one of the employees waiting for us at the door yelling at us, telling usthat?s it?s ?fucked up? to be using the same washroom? I have ordered a plate with shawarma meat which consists of rice, salad, garlic sauce, tahina, bread, and pickles. It was an... average meal in terms of taste at some points I felt that the shawarma quantity was not much. There?s a place where you can sitand have your lunch and dinner. First time we?ve had Lebanese and it won?t be our last. We ended up stopping in while getting lost in the city. Food was... prepared quickly and was good. For a small place the interior design was great, i also liked the the food. I only recommend to pay more attention to bathroom... hygiene as it had ran out of paper and did not look the best. Read more
We love coming here! Best shawarma I?ve ever had. We?ve lived in many different cities and have tried to find places that... compare to Shawarma Palace, but they always seem to come up short. The taste of the food here is always great, the restaurant isclean, and the staff is friendly. Read more
When we are downtown and want a quick bite to eat, Shawarma Palace is a great option. They have a good selection on the menu and... you can eat inside now, if you choose. I have tried the shawarma wraps - chicken, beef and mixed. All of them are very good.You get a large portion for the cost. If you walk a few blocks you can have dinner or lunch at the river with a water view ofDetroit. Parking just to stop for lunch or dinner will be a challenge. There are a number of spots out front on the street, butwill probably be full. We usually walk to the restaurant. Read more
Ordered two chicken shwarmas here. They were okay at best. For 7.50 I would expected more but it sadly did not hit the spot.... They could improve by making bigger wraps. I would recommend if it was the only place open but I would assume better options areavailable Read more
