My husband and I ate here for the first time today. We went for lunch and both ordered the 2 piece cod dinner and some battered... shrimp. We really enjoyed it. The batter was really great on the fish and shrimp, not too greasy/oily, and it had a nicecrunch to it. The fries were seasoned and tasted awesome. The portion size was huge. Popped in for lunch. Ordered the a 2 Halibut Fish Taco combo. Dining companion ordered Halibut and Chips combo. Fish Tacos were... great, although the "balls" of Halibut had to be cut in half in order to fit in my mouth. The only complaint I have is that thecoleslaw they put on it was too watery...the soft taco shells became mushy. Halibut and Chips were a hit. Great portion sizeand not a ton of batter. Will go back. Had lunch there for the first time today. Restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. Staff was friendly and accommodating.... The restaurant is cafeteria style where you have to go to an order window and place your order and pay and then someone willbring the food out to you when it?s ready. My dining companion and I both had the 2 piece cod dinner as shown in my photo. Thefish had a ton of breading and there really wasn?t that much actual fish hidden under all that breading. Overall it wasreasonably tasty and we both gave it a 7 out of 10 rating. It was OK but certainly not up to the taste and quality of Pat &Hanks. Read more

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I had a great experience here. We ordered takeout and got fish tacos and an... extra piece of cod. The place inside is very clean and nicely decorated. The food was excellent. The fries and fish were veryfresh and the batter is light and airy. I used to work at Sir Cedrics as a teenager for several years all through my universitydays. I?ve had probably hundreds of fried fish meals during my time there. Frydays offers better prices and a more creative takeon the traditional fish & chips. The fish is all freshly prepared right in front of you. I will definitely be returning. I alsolove that all of their packaging and utensils are completely biodegradable and compostable. Even the clear plastic drinking cupsare made from compostable PLA plastic. Read more

Finally!!! A great place again for fish and chips in Windsor. The community has definitely waited patiently for this... restaurant to open. Its in a great location in the plaza off of Walker rd with plenty of parking and fully accessible. So farwe have ordered the 6 piece Jr pack which included: large serving of fries (for 4), 6 pieces of cod fish, vinegar basedcoleslaw with rolls and fountain drinks. Also we absolutely couldn't resist the halibut fish tacos and reccomend you don'teither, they are done perfectly with their sauces and slaw. Fish batter is nice and crispy and light, fish is cooked perfectly!They just opened and will expand their menu as they go.
