I was finally able to try this place. This was the last of the 4 major Birria tacos places to try. I'll start by saying the... workers were very friendly. That's the best part IMO about the whole experience. I was given a sample to try the tea and thehorchata. I ordered the Birria combo for my wife and I. I also got 2 horchata drinks. The food was just meh. Tbh lacking inoverall flavour compared to the others. The consomme was very bland, the tacos were a hard crunchy but not a nice fried crunch.Like there wasn't enough of the fat from the cooking liquid to properly get a good crispy fry on the tacos. The beans had somekind of seasoning in them that we didn't care for. The rice was good. My wife didn't like the horchata, she had never tried itbefore. Too much cinnamon she said. All in all it was my least favorite of the 4 places I tried. We might try another menu itemlike the Al Pastor as the spit with the pork and pineapple looked really good. Read more
This is one of my new favourite restaurants!! The staff are so friendly, efficient and welcoming!! The owner (?Chico I believe)... is incredible! I dropped my napkins when I was leaving lmao and he ran outside to help me and give me more and it was just superwholesome :?). I went at a busier time but everything was still super quick!! My son and I tried this today and loved it. So nice to find freshly made authentic food and when the fries were a bit late they... upgraded us to a medium even though we were happily eating our tacos. Try the Fries El Dorado ! INCREDIBLE food! I ordered the Taco meal with 4 tacos and they were out of this world ???? I ordered my takeout order in person... and it was a quick 5-10 minute wait while they make the food in front of you. The beans were out of this world - I can?t wait tocome back! Read more
Authentic ! It has been a long time since I have had tacos this good. Flavors are spot on. Portions are large. Lots of options... to choose from. They have beef, chicken and fish. They also have a good variety of vegetarian options. You can alwayssubstitute meat for beans and rice. This location is very very busy and rightfully so! Food this good will always have a busylocation. Make sure you order ahead of time and confirm your order when you arrive. Heard about a new taco place in town and had to try. With Rico taco gone, I didn't think I would find a taco joint to take its... place. El Dorado may have done just that.
