We had pizza and Unhinged Red Wine. Everything about out night out was fantastic. Service, food, wine and such a friendly staff.... They all came to our table and we had great conversation. I'm hoping the chef shares more of his Italian dishes, we wereimpressed to hear about his experience being a Chef in Dubai. Highly recommend Bent Ridge. Read more

Food took an incredibly long time and once it arrived, potatoes were raw and the pizza wasn?t cut. The beer I had was flat and... tasted like a pal?s somewhat half decent home brew from a kit. The wine also tasted from a kit. Yikes. The only positive I couldtry to find was that the bizarre fake Tuscany vibe was kind of fun to banter about. Read more

Came here on a bachelorette. The winery is beautiful. The owners were friendly. Gluten free crust was good. The Slightly bent... white wine was delicious. Service was slow. A fly net or something would be a great addition to the outdoors space so guestsaren't swatting flies away while trying to enjoy their pizza and wine. Would be a great spot for a wedding or event. Went for lunch to this cute little winery. The decor almost gave me a Mexican or Spanish feel. Had the baked Brie and the... ravioli, it was fantastic. The ravioli had fresh grated Parmesan on top. My partner had a pizza with house made chorizo on itand loved it. Looking forward to trying out a grill night in the future. Read more

Bent Ridge Winery (& Bent Nail Brewery & Fuego Restaurant & Daniel's U-Pick apples & pears) has taste in more than their brews &... cooking! Delighted to have discovered this treasure, an hour from our home in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Even the toilet bowls &sinks in all the washrooms are in highly coloured porcelain with elaborate coloured images. Enjoy a pee, after a glass from thefine beer & wine menu. in the bagno with its huge classical poster for Taormina [jewel of a breathtaking & heart-warmingclifftop tourist mecca in NE Sicily]. Everything is imaginatively designed in this operation. Yet, it remains a ?working?vineyard, orchard, winery, brewery. It is beautiful without totally screening-off the work behind it all. Staff areexcellent. The menu is very creative, from appetizers to entrées (including ? besides lovely pasta etc. - an array of superblycrafted gourmet pizzas). The way restaurant prices are accelerating everywhere, the cost here is very decent, especially giventhe high quality of the place. And, in our opinion, partner Connie (daughter of immigrants from a southern Italian hill town)gave it the highest compliment of all, as soon as we pulled in: ?JUST LIKE ITALY?. (But they are not purists: they dipcomfortably into Spanish terminology on the menu, & even the restaurant part is called ? as mentioned - "Fuego" [Sp. "fire"]. Gobefore word spreads so far & wide that it gets turned into a slickly dumbed-down Peggy's Cove, which is the fate of way too many"finds" of the kind. (Yes, I know, posting this review on this site might contribute to said problem, but they deserve therevenue!) Footnote: If you happen to have Acadian ancestry (as I do), this place lies within the bounds of the area known as?Pisiquid? (with a variety of spellings), until the British organized the Expulsion to the eastern seaboard of the present USA,starting in 1755, then reallocated most of the land to Brit elite men & resettled this beautiful river valley with land-h Read more

Beautiful views, with amazing decor. Extremely friendly staff and attentive to our needs. Wine sampler was a perfect way to try... their selections of wines. Three different pizza?s, crust was nice, crisp and the stone fire style is nice. However; the pizza?scould have had a tad more flavour and spices. Hence the reason for four stars. In addition, the summer Apple pick is afavourite for our family. Read more

A gorgeous building that makes you think you are in Tuscany. The restaurant specializes in pizzas; the pizzas are also just like... being in Italy. See pic. Just FYI this isn't a typical winery where you can call in and do some tastings at the bar; tastingsare done at the table (maybe that will change after COVID is over). Our server wasn't the most attentive; she took 10 minutes tobring water, she never topped the water up, and her service was just not up to par considering what a fantastic place this is.But it's still a 5 star place!
