Very welcoming staff with a big smile. I stayed there to work because I had a lunch meeting nearby. After my meeting I went back... and continue to work. The cafe closes at 3:00 PM, but they let me borrow an extension cord and let me use their outside electricoutlet until I was done with work around 06:00 PM. Great energy there. Read more
The Bean @226 is absolutely the place that you want to be. Everything about this coffee shop puts a smile on my face. Back when... we were house hunting in 2018, we knew that we wanted to live in Windsor, CT because of the beauty in the center of town, a corepart of which was the quintessential downtown coffee shop that feels like home-away from home. I'm happy to say that I live inWindsor and go to The Bean @226 at least once a week to get my coffee fix and to just absorb the culture of this small anddiverse town. The owner always has a smile, good energy, and kind words for all guests. And you know that the vibe is rightbecause there's a water dish outside for dogs and benches for anyone to relax and socialize under the shade on a widesidewalk. When you stop in, yourself whatever coffee or tea makes you happy, buy yourself a crystal, and get a card to send toyour mom. Just enjoy your day by taking 20 minutes at The Bean @226. A suggestion: Ask for a ?Fluffy." It's a cold puffedespresso drink. I like one pump of lavender and two pumps of vanilla. Enjoy. Read more
Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere, there are also benches and tables outside perfect for summer weather. I'm not a big coffee... drinker, but I had a iced French vanilla latte and a cherry lemonade that I enjoyed. They have a good selection with noncaffeine drinks. Read more
I just stopped by today while I was driving in Windsor Area and looking for places to study. There are parking lots and outdoor... seats by town very close to this store. Inside has lots of visual hand made paints by kids and informations about everythingaround the town. Stuffs are very welcoming and friendly. They also do charity. I love this area even I live in Agawam, MA. Iwill definitely bring my 4-yo and explore all paints on the wall and my hubby to have a sweet coffee time like we are incollage. Read more
Nice spot for breakfast, lunch, snacks, coffee, and tea. They also have gourmet Jamaican patties such as ackee, spinach, spicy... squash, and other delicious options. I am only in Windsor for the summer but I am going to miss this place so much. The baristas are friendly and make the drinks so... quickly! Come early so you get the cool pastries before they sell out. The Bean also has an amazing atmosphere. I love workingfor hours at their tables and enjoying many drinks while doing so. If you love the taste of coffee and are adventurous Irecommend the fluffy expresso. Delicious!! Read more
Coffee was good, vibe is great, service on point, SCONE WAS A BUST so disappointed.. I pictured it. Tasted like a plain bagel... with a hint of blueberry.. def worst scone I?ve ever had. I hate to leave this review and would try again, but for my first tryand after a failed visit at Dunkin? I give up. I would come here to do schoolwork and relax. It?s at a nice location and thestaff was friendly, but what happened with the sconeeee who makes them?! Update: they contacted me right away and reimbursed mefor my scone without me asking. That was nice of them. Bumped to ?? ?? ?? ?? for service recovery ???????. They let me knowtheir scones are England style meant to dip in your coffee.. noted. Read more
