This brewery has great beer, some good views, and an attached nursery full of plants; thankfully, the brewery itself is not a... nursery full of loud and obnoxious kids. It's probably the most peaceful brewery to visit in the area because of their sensible21+ policy, and well worth it for the beer. Ignore the other salty reviews; breweries aren't your daycare, and your kids aren'tas well behaved as you think. Enjoy one of the other breweries in the area, please and thank you. Read more

Most breweries allow kids, so we love having a place to go where we know there won't be screaming babies or kids running around.... Families with kids - please be understanding and let us have this one. The patio is big and open with plenty of covered areasif it's too hot and sunny or raining. The beer is great. They make some of my favorite wheats. Beautiful plants everywhere andviews of the mountains. Big bonus having the distillery and nursery in case you want a mixed drink or some plants. :) Read more

If you are a parent, you can no longer drink here. I was introduced to high hops through a family with well behaved children and... there were plenty of kids enjoying the brewery. I wanted to introduce this place to a couple of friends including a mom of a 6month old who has wanted to visit. Today we were told that anyone under 21 isn't allowed anymore. I will no longer be supportingthis or heart both at the physical location or through distribution. Read more

We came a few years ago with our well-behaved young kids who stayed nearby. They were rude to us and our children. We came back... to give them a second try and they no longer allow kids in the brewery at all. We will not be back. The beer was only decentanyway. There are plenty of other great, welcoming breweries in the area. Read more

These guys have incredible beer. I absolutely love their beer. They do a fantastic job. Their patio is great, and it?s... typically a good atmosphere. I want to like High Hops! However, every time I go in there it?s always something. I feel likeHigh Hops is like the high school girl who was always drawing some type of drama every time you interacted with her. They areinstituting some new rule, or posting some type of regulation or policy, or getting mad at someone for doing something wrong. I just don?t get it. I want to like them, I do. But today, I dragged my 22 yo niece who is visiting, to get some flowers withme. I said hey lets go grab a beer and sit on the patio. She didn?t bring her id (she thought she was going to get flowers.:)). I told her they have great root beer, just get that. The employee then asked to see our id?s. I?m pretty sure you canrecognize I turned 21 in the 90?s! Secondly, she then asked to see my poor nieces id for a root beer, and then was essentiallytold she couldn?t be in there because she didn?t have id. Look, I totally get it. The policy with the no kids isunderstandable, and the employee was just doing her job, but COME ON. As the owner, PLEASE allow your very smart employees touse good judgment and their brains (don?t card an obviously over 50 woman) and allow my 22 yo niece to order a root beer to sitoutside. This is poor judgement. She wasn?t asking High Hops to violate their liquor license contract, she knew she didn?t haveher id. She was simply asking to have a root beer for heaven?s sakes with her aunt who convinced her to go get flowers. Comeon, use logic and common sense. Again, I so want to have a good experience with you, but more often than not I get some sort ofpolicy drama. It?s unfortunate. Read more
