Great place and i would recommend it. Service is great and the atmosphere is nice. I felt the food could be better. Don't get me... wrong, the ingredients were fresh and so was the food itself. I felt the overall menu was simple and lacked any complexity. Anyitems that i thought might be more interesting such as the crepes, were lacking. The same with the Sharon omelette. The crepewas 70% whipped topping with simple jam on the side. Would have been better had there been fresh fruit. The omelette had all ofthe guac dumped on one side. I forgot it had guac until i was nearly finished and then got an entire mouth full of it whichwasn't that great. I feel they have the basics down for the most part, but could just use a little more extra to go thedistance. Read more
Such a wonderful meal! These people know how to cook! The diner is slightly noisy, but we sat in a corner which made it easier... for us to hear each other. Their homemade jelly is worth a trip in itself. When considering taking some home keep in mind itcomes in cardboard cups and lasts around 5 days. We WILL be back! Read more
We met friends here after church and enjoyed the variety of selections. I had a nice salad, my husband a breakfast, and a couple... of our friends had burgers. Everyone was happy with their meal and we enjoyed time with friends. Customer service is awesome,very clean, and we were happy to see they now had the location in Windsor. Read more
We?ve been here a couple times now and the experience has been mixed. Doug?s has a reputation for large portions and good food.... I enjoy the coffee and the flavored creamer options. I enjoy the biscuits and the big omelettes. The house made jams are alwayswonderful and it?s the reason I get toast just about every time I come. You will never leave Doug?s hungry. The parking here isdecent and Doug?s pretty much dominates the parking lot with their patrons. The service is decent and the space is good sizedand comfortable. Now for the reason I can?t give 5 stars?too many times we have received our plate with cold eggs. This drivesmy wife crazy. They are actually cold to the touch. We had breakfast.. Hot Oats and Chicken Fried Papas. Food was delicious. Our waitress brought us samples of the green and red... chili to try. Both were very good. . Service was prompt and polite. We will make this place a regular stop. Anxious to try lunchthere sometime. Read more
There bison burger was pretty good. Gave my fries away they were nothing special typically french fries there were not any sides... that I was really interested in for the options. Great breakfast with my friends and there family the waitress miss understoodwhat one of them ordered and had the proper dish made and brought out. Read more
