This place has been a delight! We camped at Fort Yargo State Park (which is right across the street) and have come back on more... than one occasion now just for dinners. Best Mexican restaurant we have ever tried! My husband and I love Mexican food, I can't list the number of Mexican restaurants... we have tried and this is definitely the best!!! Today we ordered the cheese dip as a starter, delicious and the salsa too, wetried the Parrillada, I ordered a strawberry margarita and my husband a michelada beer. We were very satisfied with the flavor,quality and the excellent service. Esmeralda was our server, a very sweet and friendly girl ???? we even spoke with the ownerof the place to congratulate him on the excellent food, quality, and service. Felipe (owner) is super friendly and thanked usvery much for what we told him, he told us that it is very important for him that his customers let him know their opinion, goodor not, so they know what are they doing great and what need to be improve. Love the unique atmosphere of this restaurant, as well as the menu. It stands out from other Mexican restaurants that I have... been to. I ordered a beef chimichanga and was very impressed with the portion of the food that you got for the price. I wentagain shortly after and got take out enchiladas and a burrito. Very good. First time. Chips and salsa were fresh. Their bowls were good. Very tasty and nice fresh red and green lettuce. ... Carnitas dinner was enough for two. Very tender. This is THE best Mexican food I have ever had in my 43 years on planet earth (and I have had lots of Mexican food). The... guacamole was super fresh with big chunks of avocado. The cheese dip was amazing. I got the special rice and it wasmouthwatering. The street corn was everything I dreamed it would be. The cook here KNOWS what they are doing. Flan for desert,also delish.
