Reviews for Original Doughboy's Pizza Restaurant in Wind Gap, PA
The staff were friendly and the service was good. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't anything special. It reminded me of the pizza... they serve in the cafeteria at work. A step above frozen pizza, but definitely not great pizzeria pizza. It does have a certainuniqueness to it I suppose. Read more
After years of driving by this place we finally decided to try it and I'm glad we did. The pizza is more of a deep dish style... but was still very good. Service was fantastic, food came out quickly and the prices were reasonable. The nicest thing was thatit seemed to be filled with "regulars" who knew all the staff and vice versa, reminded me of being at the local diner. We willbe back! Read more
Amazing pizza, and I honestly think this place is underrated for 4.5 stars. They have amazing decorations and atmosphere, and... the service is amazing here. The Greek salad that I got was giant, and that surprised me. It was really good though. The onlything I have that's negative is a bit of a problem with is that they don't really serve that many drinks. (not talking aboutalcohol, they have a lot here.) Although, the food variety is insanely wide. Read more
This family owned and operated restaurant is a joy to stop in. They went out of their way to stay open, even with partial... electricity when a storm closed most places in the area. I love it when business owners adapt to circumstances rather then takethe easy way out and close their doors. I will now stop in more often. Read more
I ordered the Alfredo seafood primavera entree and it was pretty awful. First both soup options had meat in them which is fine.... I let the woman who took the order know that we do not eat meat and she offered me two Greek salads. I opened the Greek saladsand they had ham in them. I?ve never seen Greek salads have ham on them but nonetheless I specifically told her I do not eatmeat especially pork. Then the garlic bread was hard and finally the entree was terrible. The sauce was so bland and thescallops were tough. I would not recommend eating at this establishment. Save your money. 0/10 Read more
Loved the pizza and chopped Greek salad! The house dressing was delicious. Huge menu, very comfortable seating and friendly... staff. The owners are very nice people and I felt at home. I would especially recommend this spot for families with children. You can't go wrong here! Read more
Walking in here I orginally thought I would be turned away due to them not having a showcase or slices...but alas..they did have... slices!. Nice place. Big! They have like 3 dining rooms and I bet this place seats well over 100. The slice came and at firstglance it was real thick, definitely not NY style. First bite was a surprise. What was I eating? It was like halfway betweenthick crust and thin but was definitely Pan Pizza, it had a very airy crispy and delicious crust that can only be from risingand cooking in a Pan. It was so good, and the sauce and cheese were amazing as well. This is very unique pizza and it isabsolutely delicious. 2 of these slices and you would be full...and the slice was only 2.39....after the slice I had before thisat Isabella's for 2.50...i felt like I hit the Jackpot. Super dope. 8.5 out of 10 on the slice...super good stuff! Read more
