Food was good. I was a little taken back by the saltiness of the coconut soup, as well as the mint leaf in the soup. I have... never had coconut soup with mint.. I did not care for it. This is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant, even after having lived in the DC/NoVa area. To start, the food is always... consistent and absolutely delicious! You can immediately tell the ingredients are very fresh and combined perfectly togetherwith the right seasonings. The owner/staff is so very friendly and great at what he does! Most of the time it's just him, buthe's so fast and attentive, making sure you have everything you need. Even with every table sat, I've seen people more pleasedby one person than most restaurants I've visited or worked at in the past. When you get a glimpse of the kitchen or it's staff,you see an immaculately clean place and staff always wearing protective equipment(even well into 2022 when most restaurantemployees bypass PPE). The menu offers a wide variety of options, plentiful for many dietary needs and is very affordable andreasonably priced. The location is very convenient and the interior always kept clean, organized, and welcoming. They do offer agood selection of beer and wine as well, offer a small outdoor seating area with heating in the winter. It's surrounded by tonsof shopping, so it's fun to visit and then walk around. I'm guilty to almost never change my usual pad Thai, but all theirdishes are superb, including the Tom Yum and Tom Ka soup, the drunken noodles, cashew chicken, pad se-ew, and more! Found this hidden gem while driving. Met by my server and was seated quickly. Very clean and great atmosphere. Large menu... selection and priced nicely. I had the Fresh Rolls for my appetizer and they were great! They were accompanied with peanut andchili sauces. For my main course I went with my favorite, Green Curry with chicken. I was not disappointed with my selection. Ithad the great flavor that I was expecting and the heat was just right (medium) for me. I would definitely recommend eating here.Enjoy. Read more
In town for skyline drive and hankering for some Thai so sorted by top review score which landed us at this cute little strip... mall restaurant (they have 2 small outdoor tables too). Great spacing of tables inside, super cute decor, very clean, reasonableprices, and the service was incredible. Probably 8 tables filled with guests and one guy was doing all theseating/serving/clearing/cleaning (he was amazing)... and still we were in and out in under 40 minutes (of our own choice, theydid not rush us but did get the food out FAST). Kept our water glasses full. Most importantly, the food was delicious - generoushelpings, good spice, and good amount of vegetables and protein. It is not the same since Nick and his wife sold the place. We tried it three times to give the new owner a chance. They have cut... back on the portions. When we ordered take out and got home it look like a reduced lunch sized version. I called and complainedto Tom, he said he would share my feedback with the chef. We went in last night and Tom was great. Only charged us for one oftwo meals as an apology. I thought that was great but when I opened my red chicken curry at home, my few pieces of chicken wereswimming in curry sauce. Very little if anything else was added. We don?t like paying $38 for two meals and having such reducedportions. So disheartening that the quality left when Nick and his wife left. Not going back. Read more
