Reviews for Antojitos Mexicanos in Winchester, VA
Food is good. But service is bad. We were charged extra for multiple items on the menu. After speaking to the owner, she stated... that their prices had gone up due to inflation. However we’re never notified of these changes upon ordering. Instead of simplyapologizing for the confusion. She went ahead and kept finding excuses for us not to request a refund. She stated that the menushad not been updated because they were switching locations. She stated staff didn’t inform us of these changes because theyhave hired new staff. She also told us that we should always ask for prices whenever we go out to eat because it could bedifferent than the menu. Such BS. She was rude and arrogant. We will never eat here again! Read more
I didn't plan on going here, just a random decision as I was driving by. I'm glad I did!!! The food was phenomenal and service... was amazing. It's a bare bones taqueria, no glitz and glamour. It reminded me of the places I would go to in California. Veryaffordable too. 10/10 Read more
Want authentic? Go here. Go for the really great food and don't turn your nose up at the atmosphere. The seating area is plain,... but not cramped, and our server was very attentive despite juggling five tables as well as carry-out orders. Tacos are like theones you get on the streets of Mexico, and everything tastes home-made. Everything was very flavorful and certainly authentic.Thumbs up. Read more
Absolutely beyond words incredible. Literally went for the first time on Friday and went back again on Saturday for round 2... within 24 hours. Truly the most delicious tacos. The chicken fajitas were delicious (perfectly spiced, lots of chicken andpeppers and onions, full of flavor). Also got chorizo burrito and steak burrito and both were incredible (and gigantic!).Everything was delicious and the ingredients were higher quality than I've seen in many other local restaurants. The staff wasSUPER sweet both times as well. 10/10 hands down. Best tacos in Winchester for sure?? Read more
This little place creates authentic Mexican Cuisine in a very big way. The service is friendly and attentive and the prices are... excellent for the amount of food served. The pictures are of two of my favorite menu items. The small(nothing small about it)Chorizo Quesadilla/ $4.50 and two Tamales De Rajas (vegetarian) $2.50 each. Their Salsa Verde is excellent but if you prefer alittle heat, their Red Sauce is wonderful. Open 10:00 to 8:00 Tues. through Thurs. Fri. and Sat. until 9:00 and Sun. until8:00. You need to give these folks a try. I am confident you will be glad you did. Read more
Ordered the guac & chips, mole chicken enchiladas, tacos campechanos, and menudo. Food tasted legit and the service was... friendly, professional, and fast. Parking was on the street in front of the building, but if you’re lucky to find a spotit’s worth it. Read more
