Celebrated my birthday here, and what a special celebration it was. Our table was ready and waiting for us with a special... starter waiting for us on the table. We had a personalized touch to every phase of our meal, including a special request saladfor my picky Eater, and three plates of buttered noodles for all three of my picky eaters! :-) The food was top-notch. Remindedme exactly of dishes I had in Italy, down to the detail of my salmon being diced in my entree rather than a fillet on top of thepasta. We?ve walk by this restaurant at least twice per week for two years. Finally, we made reservations. It was absolutely amazing.... It?s now going to be our go to restaurant. The jardiniere was the perfect start. The pasta dishes were phenomenal. The sangriawas lovely. The service was timely and professional. This is a small restaurant. The atmosphere was very warming and had a family feel to it. They were very knowledgeable about the... wines and sangria's that they offered. The daily special was duck with an orange sauce over a bit of black rice. It was cookedperfectly. For a starter a mixture of Summer vegetables with tomatoes and onions to go with the bread which was very good. ThenI tried the rice balls which were a very large helping for one person but they were very good and the sauce went great with thebread. This is a upscale restaurant, not some pizza and pasta place! Very friendly, extended family run, authentic, Italian experience.... When my wife requested something not on the menu, immediate "of course!". The entrees were excellent, from seafood to veal. Recommended for a special night out. Read more
