I got a sandwich and a pastry for lunch. The pastry was fine but my BLT had no tomatoes. If they told me they were out of... tomatoes I would have ordered something else. Read more
That was a disappointment. 8 asked for a mocha and they said they only have flavor. Fine, and I ordered it with two shots.... What's I got was a thin coffee with artificial flavor, yikes. The almond Linzer cake was all marzipan with so much artificialextract that it was almost inedible. The same for the almond macaroons. The only decent part was the apple crumble. One of the best bakeries around. Everything was fresh and delicious. I have only a few criteria for determining a good... bakery: How are the cakes? They have a wide variety of cakes and I had trouble choosing from their ridiculously deliciouslooking selection. The shaved chocolate cake was literally to-die-for. How is the bread selection? Significant offering. TheFrench baguette was amazing and the 4 cheese bread? (stop trying to get me fatter). How are the cookies? Great selection tochoose from. Chocolate chip cookie was perfectly chewy and soft on the inside and crispy around the edges just as it shouldbe. They checked all the boxes for me. They also had a table of gifts for Valentine?s Day was a super good idea. I also hadlunch while I was there and they had a nice selection of sandwiches and soups. Staff was friendly and attentive, which is rarein this day and age. I would highly recommend La Patisserie for any pastry, cake or baked good needs. Read more
Absolutely fantastic. I had a bacon and gruyere croissant which was delicious despite being improperly warmed up alongside a... pastry I can't recall the name of that I couldn't find any reference to online that was phenomenal. Above all of this though,they have the best palmiers I have ever had and I have had many. Fantastic food overall. Oh and they have lavazza coffee. Read more
I just received a black forest cake as a gift for my birthday. I must say I was surprised to get my favorite type of cake but... not sure how it would taste being shipped from the east to west coast and from a place I was not familiar with. Let me tellyou... this was one of the best black forest cakes I have ever had! You guys rock!! I'm in heaven right now. Read more
