Oh what can I say about Applebee's in Winchester? Well take a pause and imagine the dreadful experience we encountered... We... were passing through with the kids and decided to drop in for supper. We selected Applebee's over fast food which was the worstmistake! Our waitress was ridiculously slow and timing was horrid. We ordered the Whiskey burgers and asked for extra BBQ sauce.Our waitress didn't bring it for another 10 minutes. She instead took another table's order and proceeded to serve drinks to asecond table. When she passed by I asked for more bbq a second time. Lazily our waitress retorted "yeah I'm getting to it". Whenour waitress would bring the food/drinks to the table she would place it on the end or middle of the table. She didn't evengive it to the person who ordered it. I mean at least fast food restaurants hand you your food! To make this unsatisfactory mealworse, we sat with empty drinks while we finished eating. Our waitress was not professional, wore see through leggings, and waslackadaisical. Promptness was absent throughout the entire visit. The food was lacking quality. The burgers had a quarter sizesmeared area of bbq and were just dry without much flavor. The broccoli was undercooked. Our daughter didn't like the yogurt asshe complained it had lumps in it. The sauce on my hot wings were dry not wet-n-saucey. To say the least, we made a quick exitto find somewhere else for dessert! Applebee's it has been years since I had tasted your cuisine and was very much disappointedin the quality of food and service. In my opinion this is a strike out and certainly a do not return venue. Good food. Clean place. Reasonable prices. A little skimpy with the cheese sticks, tho.
We went yesterday and they were not crowded. The problem was the kitchen. My chicken tenders were 4 little strips that I... could have gotten in the frozen food section of Wal mart. Not good at all. The fries were stone cold had to serve back bothorders. The artichoke Dip was so runny it was like water. The chips were stale. Not a good experience at all. No one evenasked if everything was okay. We stopped in there on a Saturday evening about 4 pm it wasn?t very busy but when we walked in we waited about 10 minutes or... more before anyone even acknowledged us? The waitress wasn?t very nice . The food was ok not that great the chicken strips werecrunchy almost burnt . The coleslaw wasn?t good I didn?t eat hardly anything on my plate. Save yourself from this experience. Waited 20 minutes after being seated to order drinks and another 15 for food. Staff seemed... very uninterested in actually doing anything. Place wasn?t even remotely busy, drinks were wrong, food was drop and dashed.Food was slightly old, as in stale chips, and had probably been left sitting after being made. Food was very good. Tried burgers and were very juicy. Friendly staff and good restaurant. Tables and bars were clean and good.... Restrooms were clean. Lot of parking space available and easy to access and spot from road. Would recommend thisplace. Moderately expensive compared to other restaurants nearby. Read more
We went to Applebee's for my cousins birthday and when we got there it wasn't bad at first, but we waited almost an hour for... food and drink refills.
