Cute place, felt like an older crowd goes there not sure if it's to hear the piano player or relaxing atmosphere. Our server was... nice and so was the manager who came over to check on us. Tropics Grille a well established restaurant, bar, and cabaret located in Wilton Manors is a good find. We went this evening to... hear Chris Barrett play piano and sing (we knew Chris from his entertaining in NYC). The restaurant's cabaret area has anentertainment schedule on their website. Overall, we were impressed by the broad menu and the overall quality of our meals -vegetable egg rolls as an appetizer, roasted chicken and fish and chips as entrées, and a blueberry crisp fir dessert. Themartini was expertly made by our wonderful server Jami. All and all looking forward to returning to try more menu items. Read more

Beautiful restaurant. The food is prepared to perfection. Casual but elegant. Perfect place for dinner with your special... someone. We went for a belated Valentine's dinner. We arrived about 10 minutes past the cutoff for the kitchen but they weregracious enough to accommodate us. We were the only ones dining so we ordered quickly and it came out quickly. Tropics is a very beautiful and stylish Restaurant and Bar. Old fashioned and everyone is dressed up very nicely which I love.... As a matter of fact there are multiple bars inside and on some nights there is life entertainment. For the second time now I hadthe chicken marsala and it is one of the best I've ever had anywhere. The prices are reasonable and on certain nights they havehalf off dinner prices which makes it even more appealing. My favorite restaurant on the drive! Half off burger and chickensandwich night on Wednesdays. The chicken sandwich I ordered with a side of mashed potatoes gravy and brussel sprouts weredelicious. Read more
We went for Prime Rib night. The price was good roughly 25$ for a nice sized prime rib. The steak was good enough but nothing... I would scurry to go get, but worth the price ! The sides (i chose) were great, baked potatoe and Brussel sprouts. Theatmosphere was great. Welcomed immediately and the restaurant was buzzing and busy with great energy. Then we met ourserver. Perhaps it was just a bad day for him, however, he didn't do well at hiding his bad attitude. I've never had badservice here, personally, and I've visited many times on different nights. Again, perhaps, it was just an off- day for thisgentleman but honestly 1 star rating (for service) is generous. The food came out in good time, hot, and correct to all 4orders (for me and the 3 others I was with) but the server's attitude was actually very close to being rude.
