Was surprise at the quality of the drinks. Got a mango smoothie and tasted great. I also ordered like a black bean, chicken,... salsa quesadilla and was smaller than I expected but the sauce for it paired well. I would go back and try the other drinks. Read more
1st time there I got a Blimey Limey and it was really good, lots of lime flavor. Loved it!!! The next 2 times it was much more ... strawberry and not enough lime. 3rd trip ASKED for more lime but still not as good as the 1st. Read more
This place used to be so great. But after walking in today and seeing all the flys on the to go orders the Register area and the... tables. There were 5 flys on the plastic thing at the register. This is so nasty. No thank you. Flys are the easiest thing toget rid of in food serivce. If you cared about food saftey that is. My boss still decided to order. Except they were out ofbananas, out of flat Brea and out of cups. How the heck dose a place that sells drinks run out of cups. Those expensivesmoothies were put into 2 little cups. The wife and I took a few of our friends (who were from out of town) to get smoothies on Saturday morning. We ordered the... smoothies and presented the cashier with our ?punch card? which entitled us to 1 free smoothie based on our previous smoothiepurchases?the cashier said that they were not going to honor our ?punch card? because they recently phased it out? I canunderstand NOT issuing any new cards but not honoring a previously punched card is extremely poor business practice! We havebeen loyal customers for years and we will NOT be going back. We ordered 3 sandwich variations from here? all 3 were completely screwed up. The Baja chicken wrap had NO CHICKEN in it. Not to... mention the additional 30 mins I had to wait past the time stated my order would be ready. I have tried to call to speak withsomeone regarding this matter, apparently you can?t even call them as their phones do not work and you can only leave avoicemail. I have left 5 voicemails and counting over the last 2 weeks regarding this and a refund for our wasted time andmoney. Still have yet to have a call returned. Absolute terrible customer service. My roommate and I were once absolutely addicted to this tropical and we went at least 3 times a week. Now it?s significantly... less frequent because the service and experience as a whole are horrible. We?ve tried to give them a chance but lately we?vebeen disappointed. Today we got the same smoothie and they tasted completely different, mine was watery and flavorless. I askedif it could be remade and was apologetic (even though their inconsistency is the issue) and one of the grown ladies in the backproceeded to say to her coworker ?tell her that she got a modification so that?s exactly what she ordered?. Keep in mind, Itried my friends who got the exact same thing and we both agreed mine was bad. We also get the exact same smoothie every time soit would?ve been nice if this woman didn?t make a snarky remark, let alone right in front of us. She looked to be management,wish I had gotten her name. Also there was zero tinfoil on my quesadilla and they used to come in boxes. Sad to see that allthese reviews aren?t being taken into account. Knew something was wrong when the wraps were cold when we just picked them up. It was like biting into an ice cube with the... cheese being unmelted as well. Smoothie was watered down and tasted like ice mixed with banana and no flavor. Read more
(edit: What makes this worse is they ask for a tip BEFORE you wait for your food. What are we tipping for?) VERY sweet staff but... they had an online order for 20 smoothies and didn't tell anyone about it until after we were all waiting for 15 minutes. PLEASEbe transparent about your online orders if they are going to affect your wait time. In-person customers should have a choice togo elsewhere if they don't want to wait, not be stuck after they've already paid. Read more
