I was traveling from out of state and decided to try this place because of the reviews and the fact that they use fresh lobster... from Maine. I wasn?t sure what to order and the girl at the register and the cook were super friendly and explained what and howthe rolls came. I ordered a lobster roll and lobster Mac and cheese for two. The girl was so kind and and even separated thelobster from the Mac and cheese so I could reheat it when I got home. If you haven?t already checked this place out you?remissing out! I have been meaning to get over to "The Maine Lobster Roll Company" ever since we moved to Wilma two years ago. I should have... gone sooner because the Lobster Mac 'n Cheese is just the most decadent, rich and uncommonly good dish you will ever eat. Theyreally know what they are doing and I can just imagine how good the rolls must be--next time! There is a reason that this placehas a high average review, it is just that good. No frills, quick in and out and order ahead, and they have a wide variety offar northeast (Maine/Boston) delicacies. They do not produce comfort food, this is reward food. I was skeptical about this place because they have earned suspiciously high scores on everywhere online. So I drove about 3... hours to eat lobster rolls at the Maine Lobster Roll Company with my wife and son. First of all, I am very sorry to suspect thequality and taste of food from this restaurant. Their lobster rolls are perfect, everything was very tasty and incredibly fresh.The service from owners was very nice. We will visit any time soon. I am glad I found this place in Wilmington. So much lobster in the full roll! And a great price. So glad I stumbled upon this place looking for seafood in Wilmington. The... lobster is flown in from Maine. They also sell some drinks you can normally only get in New England. Will definitely come backif I'm in the area. Read more
