Great Greek food. Each meal is prepared individually to order. Prices are good and it's an excellent value for your money. The... atmosphere is Spartan but its all about the excellent and delicious fresh food. Friendly staff and thoughtfully prepared gyros,Greek salad, hummus, tzatziki and hot pita. Plastic cutlery and service yourself drinks - but the food is the reason to go.Highly recommend. Great take out too! Read more

Looking for Greek Food...enjoy the delights of the greek isles. Authentic Greek dishes served up quickly. Fresh carved Lamb... Gyro from the rotisserie served as a combo with a drink and a choice of sides. The Dolmas were delicious with tender riceinside grape leaves that were perfect firmness & consistency. Unique Sides like oven baked lemon potatos with whole cloves ofgarlic accent the lemony goodness of the potato wedges. Greek dirty rice with onions green beans and feta cheese are awonderful compliment to your dish. Don't forget the Baklava glistening with sweet honey. Take out or eat in the Spaciousdining room made for comfort over elegance. Owner Yanni Papas puts his own spin on his family's favorites. You will be lovingyour dishes from this little taste of Santorini right in the heart of Wilmington. Read more

We got takeout, so I didn't want to do a disservice via photo for this place because it sat in the car for a while. If you hate... garlic or yogurt, this is not the place for you! The portions are GENEROUS and I wish I lived across the street to eat theirgyro every day. SUPER fresh ingredients (even out of season??? How did they do that?!) and even with takeout, the preparationseemed very thoughtful and well put together. The sampler platter and gyro or gyro platter is a good start if you've never hadGreek food before. Great job, Greeks! We'll be back with all of our friends and eat in next time. Read more

Lunch visit with my wife. We ordered lamb gyro, mine without onions and here's with onion and made them a combo with fries and... fountain drinks. No crowd, which was good and location was quiet restaurant roomy...that's the 2 stars. First impression:tables weren't cleaned after last customer, bits of food still left on table. Gyros were loaded with lettuce and we thoughtgyro were served with tzatziki sauce? To us, it tasted more like 100% sour cream and NOTHING like tzatziki sauce. Mixed withraw lettuce and their sauce, very little lamb meat we got, they over rode what little flavor the lamb had. The fries had moreflavor that anything else on the plate. We're not returning to THIS location again. Not worth the tide or the money spent, over$32! Read more

Greek salad with Gyro meat was above average but I have had better and more authentic. The Baklava was bad. Will most likely not... come here again. My wife enjoyed her pita gyro. Read more

The food was very good but what's worth noting is the service. I placed my order, got handed a cup for a drink & gave it back... explaining I have a reaction to styrofoam. The crew gave me a canned drink & when my order was ready they custom made trays forme out of paper plates so I wouldn't have to touch the usual trays. I've never had that done for me before and I can not tellthe staff how much it means to me. Read more

My daughter and I ate at the Oleander location tonight. She had heard about the restaurant on the radio and was very excited for... us to try it. We both LOVE Greek food. We were sadly very disappointed. We ordered Spanakopita as an appetizer, ChickenSouvlaki platter, and Falafel platter for our entrees. We asked if my daughter could substitute lemon potatoes for the Frenchfries, one of the employees very rudely stated that they were out of potatoes. When our food came, her chicken was cold, therewas no dressing on the salad and the garlic in the Tzatziki was way over powering. My falafel platter was the most disappointingfalafel platter I have ever had. I have NEVER had falafel that was tan on the inside. Every place I have ever had falafel, ithas always been a vibrant green color inside. It was very bland and flavorless. My salad as well was undressed. I asked aboutthe Tabbouleh that was supposed to be on the platter. The young gentleman said they had not had Tabbouleh in over a year.Although my daughter's chicken was cold, she ate it. However, the only thing I ate on my plate was the pita and olives. Wefinally were served the Spanakopita APPITIZER about 10-15 minutes after we received our meals and were ready to leave. We livein Brunswick County and frequent Wilmington on a very regular basis, I can guarantee that we WILL NOT be dining at orrecommending The Greeks. Like I said, I have NEVER been so disappointed in a restaurant in my life. Read more
