Good food and great wait service and a great atmosphere with TVs and outdoor tables with fire places. Lacking in enough high... chairs for children. They do not have Big 10 network, SEC Network, or Golf Network. We arrived and were told there is a waitlist for high chairs. There were roughly 4 infants eating. We had to hold our baby and pass back and forth while eating.Increase the amount of high chairs please. Read more

A very doubtful start, sat quickly and served drinks. Our server vanished. Over waiting 10 minutes to see anyone I managed to... get the attention of one of the male staff. Told him our situation, from this point 100% turn round in service. Food ordered,delivered quickly. Hot and fresh... Ice cream sandwiches were great. Biggest surprise was when the check arrived our WHOLE mealwas compd. At no time did we ask or mention looking for this, we just wanted to eat. My kids beg for this place all the time. We love the "chill" atmosphere. I feel a lot of the negative reviews on here are from... people that are expecting a 5 star dining experience at a pizza place. It's fantastic food, great drink selections (local), andknowledgeable staff. We will be back.... often! Read more

Had a horrible experience today.. We are regulars at slice of life. As we entered today meet by nice guy who said they do not... put the tables together outside but we could do whatever. So we had 10 guest with us and the fire pit tables do not accommodate10 people and the food. Would be very tight. So as we put tables together older waitress stormed out she was so rude not sure wewill be back. At least we will avoid her services? I may have understood the rule if it was rush hour. It was 2:30 on Sundayafternoon no one there maybe two people inside. We just figured best to leave. If that was the way service started would mostlikely not change. So we left and went across Market street to Kornerstone who greeted us kindly and they where happy toaccommodate our group of 10. They even put three tables together with umbrellas. Pizza is amazing. The nachos are big enough for 2, maybe 3. Wing are to die for. They have several beers and Tequilas to choose... from. Their service is amazing and they are on top of your ever need. I was very happy with both the food and service I receivedtoday. Read more

My visit was 3 December 2021 for dinner before my Wilmington Historic 5K the next day. I didn?t know what to eat but was tired... from my drive, I read the reviews which to me were not hitting high but I figured I would give them a try. My order was atakeout and I did have a beer while I waited. Figured one slice of pepperoni pizza and some garlic parmesan wings. Placelooked nice, staff were very pleasant, atmosphere seem nice. So, my slice of pizza should have been the only thing I got. Itwas okay, but pictures say a lot, but the wings were horrible. Not cooked well, some cheap garlic sauce thrown on them andparmesan in a container to the side. Really. At least they could soak the wings in the garlic sauce. Then I really can?tbelieve the cook or preparer actually picked up the celery sticks, put them in the container and not looked at them. Don?t knowif that was by design, but I wonder. Disgusting, all the celery sticks in this batch where they came from were contaminated. Wasn?t a good thing to serve this to someone in the medical field. They were lucky I was too tired to walk back across theparking lot for my money back. However, now I understand the poor ratings I came across. If you are smart, think twice andnever again. Read more
