Food was delicious. Had the catch of the day (flounder) and a fried shrimp street taco with fries. The inside is a bit cold and... fishy smelling becuase of the massive walk-in and fresh seafood displays, but they do have a shaded outdoor seating area. I absolutely love this place. First of all, when you come in, there is no stale fish odor. They do an excellent job on... cleanliness. The entire staff is so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They can always answer my questions and I haveconfidence in their answers, that they aren't just making it up. It is hard to find a fish store that has all of thesequalities. And finally, their prices are fair market price. I live on Oak Island and the local seafood places aren't near asnice and they are tourist priced. So now Seaview is a weekly shopping stop. Read more

If you love seafood than this is THE place to go for fresh seafood. It's a fresh seafood market with many selections of fish,... shrimp, clams, crab, oysters, etc. They'll cut/slice/filet any fresh fish to your liking. They also have a littlerestaurant/kitchen counter where you can purchase cooked seafood (pretty much any way you like yours cooked and seasoned) anddelicious side dishes for takeout or to eat there. Reasonable prices for locally fresh caught seafood. The staff are friendlyand helpful. I absolutely recommend Seafood Crab Company. It's the best in Wilmington! Read more

My mother and I drove an hour from Warsaw, NC to purchase some crabs. We each bought a dozen jimmies for $29.95 and paid an... additional $6 to have them steamed. We ended up getting one dozen jimmies and close to two dozen mixed because the cashierdiscovered there was only one dozen jimmies left after we paid. We get home and the jimmies looked horrible. There was hardlyany meat and the crabs were not large. All of them had this dark grey colored meat in them. There were roughly 8-10 good mixedcrabs out of the 24. Have heard about sea view from a fishing captain who told me about it. Came out of Red Cross saw it and decided needed to go. ... Darn glad I did. Have a grilled shrimp po boy that was delicious. The woman working the counter was a delight. I told her Ihad never been there and asked her what I should try etc. She was great and will be back to try other things!
