Great place...great atmosphere. Food is really good. You won't be disappointed. The portions are large so keep that in mind if... you like to split something and not have leftovers. First time here so I can't comment on the fried chicken which is supposed tobe the best. Read more

BEST FRENCH TOAST AND CHEESY GRITS OF MY LIFE!!! Worth the wait! Put your name on the list and go walk around. So these CHEESY... GRITS were so savory and creamy and black peppery, I could have eaten an entire pot! I am going home and I am going to try sohard to recreate this!???? and that French toast...MMMM!!...ok so it was THICK and the bread pulled apart not like regularbread. And it had almost like a crunchy cinnamon sugary coating, WOW JUST WOW! with that said, in my opinion, the fried chickenbreast could have used more salt and i prefer a thicker batter on my fried chicken...but that's me! Excellent Southern cuisine. Every e loved the sandwiches. Shrimp or catfish Poorboys, fried green tomato BLT, brisket we're... fantastic. The banana pudding was "like slipping into a warm bath". Thos is a bucket list restaurant. Read more

We always enjoy eating along the waterfront here in Wilmington, and this was our first time at Rooster & the Crow. All I have... to say is Loaded Cheese Fries... Just get them... You can thank me later! Huge portions for those and the lunch items, friedchicken is amazing as well. We will absolutely be back again. Service was spectacular as well. Highly recommend! Read more
Wow. Seriously the best fried chicken and amazing cheese grits. Located in a late 1800s converted warehouse the ambiance is very... cool. The staff is excellent, the beer list is all local drafts, and the food is fabulous. This will be a regular haunt. GreatSunday brunch menu too! Read more
