We went with a party of 12 for a birthday party. We were told 3 times over the phone by separate employees that we had a... reservation for our party. We called 1.5 hours before our reservation time to confirm. We were assured that our table would beready. When we arrived people were everywhere waiting for seating. We assumed we were good to go. The hostess told us they don'tdo reservations!! We waited for a manager and she told us that they don't do reservations. We showed her our phone with thetimes we spoke to the restaurant confirming our reservation and gave her names of each person that confirmed we had areservation. She said that Red Robin flew her in from the west coast because they cannot get employees and that it did notmatter if we had a reservation. She said that she could not seat us for 45 minutes because we had to get in line with everyoneelse. Of course we called another local restaurant, told them what happened and they had a table waiting for us with reservedsigns by time we arrived. I will never go back to Red Robin. We came to the beach and stopped our way back to eat at this location. We came around 7:45 on Saturday and were told that we can... only take out which was fine so we waited 45 mins to get the food. We decided to just sit outside the restaurant to eat. As weopened the food 2 of my kids got 6 fries each and one got 3 fries. I mean seriously i paid $16 for each burger. So since we werestill there i went inside and showed the food to the server and mentioned this is all the fries we got and she replied ?AND? andi said you don?t see the problem. Which she replies back to oh so you want more fries, If you don?t have enough food to servedon?t charge for it. They thought we will find out once we are home since it was a takeout. Read more

1st the good, my wife said her chicken topped salad was moist and tasty. Burgers were ok, but my burger and fries were only... just warm, sent fries back and new ones were brought right out. Kids meal came with mandarin oranges that he really liked andthey brought him four more servings. 2nd the bad, upon entering the Host said 10 minute wait to clean tables, 25 minutes latershe took us to a table that hadn't been wiped down. We were informed multiple times they were short handed. After a wait thewaitperson said the food would be right out but that took another 10 minutes, hence the lukewarm fries. Worse thing we weretrying to get to a movie and missed it sending the rest of the afternoon into a tailspin. Side note the staff could dress betterand the host could learn to smile. Last the ugly. While waiting in the lobby it was noticeable that the woodwork neededcleaning especially the very support next to host desk. There was also a faint negative smell in the restaurant. However therestroom seemed fairly clean, more than most. Maybe with more staff it would have been a better experience. Read more

Stopped in the Wilmington, NC, location last week for an early lunch at 11:30a, figuring it would beat the expected busy crunch... time. When we arrived were told there would be a 15 minute wait! I asked why a wait at 11:30a and was told that only oneserver came to work that day and they could only handle a few tables at a time. I understand that ALL restaurants are lookingfor reliable help, but, having one server show up (instead or the usual four or five at lunch) is just unbelievable. Must notbe a desirable place to work. First time eating here. Customer service was great and the food was fantastic.

Food was awesome! I had the Royal Red Robin burger. The waiter turned the TV to the Stanley Cup Finals, it was a good time. Only... complaint we didn't get bottomless fries. Which were really good.....I wanted more! Read more
