So glad we finally made it to Michael's on the Waterfront. Every time we walk along the water, I see this place and think to... myself, "We need to eat there." We were a party of eight and had to wait a bit. The wait-staff was hustling to a crowd ofhungry diners. We didn't mind the wait. We were finally seated and had a great lunch. I ordered the crab cake on top of theCaesar salad. Being from Maryland, I'm a little picky with crab cakes. They were not your typical Maryland-style cakes but waspretty decent with good flavors. I wish it was baked, rather than fried. No lump but good flavors. DH had his usual burger forlunch with fries. All good. I decided to have a small birthday dinner at this location. The food was hot, fresh and smell terrific. The drinks were on point... (meaning great) and very well needed. Christian is a great server! Awesome customer service! Met Ruth, who migrated from the North. She is phenomenal! Picked items from a large menu. Enjoyed the... Ainsley fried chicken, open faced pot roast and Henry's hamburger with tater tots. The restaurant has table top juke boxes andis kept very clean. Excellent food and atmosphere! The best scallops I have ever had anywhere. My husband's ribeye was huge and perfectly cooked.... Everything, including the sides, were absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned and cooked. So glad we happened to stop in here! Read more

Went here for the first time on a Friday night. It was not too busy. My food was good. I had the ginger salad and cauliflower... wings. My husband got the steak frites and said the steak was a little tough but it was edible. The restaurant itself felt alittle grimey. It had an underlying smell to it (not overpowering but didn't smell entirely clean). Our server was awesome. Shewas attentive and nice. Overall I felt that the price charged for the dishes was too much for what was being offered. It wasn'tbad but I definitely would pick another restaurant for this price range. Read more
