This location has pretty odd hours. Or maybe it?s just odd delivery hours? But, I?ve tried to order from them a few times and... received a prompt saying that the location was closed ? in the middle of the day. Today, when my partner ordered for delivery,he was asked if he could come pick up the order himself because there were no delivery drivers. We live in Brooklyn Artsdistrict so he agreed, but it just so happened to be RiverFest this weekend which made getting downtown and finding parking abit difficult. Once we got inside the store to pick up the order, we noticed there was only one employee in the store. Ithought that might mean we?d be waiting for bit, but, our order was ready to go. Lucky, right? I always get a Turkey Tom withextra lettuce. I usually love Jimmy John?s lettuce. This sandwich tasted funny ? not terrible ? just different from what JimmyJohn?s has normally tasted like. Here we are, a few hours later, and my partner and I have both had upset stomachs and mentionedthat the lettuce tasted funny. If I had to guess, I?d say our sandwiches were prepared ahead of time ? maybe even a day or two? and weren?t fresh. I?ve never had a Jimmy John?s experience quite like this one and probably wouldn?t leave 1-star, but due tothe delivery issues both today and at other times as well as being physically ill from my turkey sandwich, here I am.
