Ordered for the first time from Fire Bowl today . The person taking my order was very knowledgeable . The wait was about 10... minutes and he brought the order to my car. This is the best "fast" Chinese restaurant in town. They deliver quickly (often under the quoted time) and offer takeout. There... isn't a large seating area to eat there but it IS possible. Food is well cooked, not greasy, and with large portions. The staffis always so friendly even when they are super busy. Aside from Double Happiness (which is a dine-in establishment), I won'torder Chinese food from anywhere else in Wilmington (trust me when I say that I've tried them all at some point in the past).I've been ordering from Firebowl since they've opened and I've never had any of the supposed problems like those who have postednegative reviews have claimed. I placed an order during ?ice storm Wilmington 2022? and I got there early (knowing my food wasn?t gonna be done). He told me to... just wait a few minutes so I went to my car to stay warm and within 2 minutes he brought it out to me in my car!! Top notchservice! I just tried this takeout restaurant last week, and the food and service was so good I went back the next night to try another... dinner! I liked the fact that both times my food was not greasy! Thai curry beef was spicy but hearty. That is a great wintermeal. Also had spring rolls and shrimp rolls. Lightly fried and not heavy at all, which I like. The two guys working there thetimes I went were very polite. There is a sign on the door saying to call, but I pulled up in front, and both times one of themcame out to greet me and handed me a menu. Service!! Then when the food was ready, and the kid brought it to my car, he saidthank you and for me to enjoy my dinner. I will DEFINITELY be going back to try more dinners in the near future! As a chef that can cook Chinese food at home just fine. It's nice to go to other places to experience other forms of cooking.... With that said, most of Wilmington's Chinese and hibachi spots are subpar. Firebowl however, is very nice for the dollar. Thehibachi alone is better than anywhere else in Wilmington. Fried rice is on point. Food cooked in a timely manner and on properequipment. You will not be disappointed with this establishment. It's located right before the Publix in Ogden. ???? Read more
