Really enjoyed the food but the cleanliness of the facility was below average. Staff were friendly and our food came out pretty... quickly. The apple pie pancakes were quite good and our kids loved the Mickey Mouse pancakes. Coffee was decent tasting andserved hot. Portion sizes were quite large so bring your appetite. As far as cleanliness there must have been a plumbing issuewhile there as the entire restaurant smelled like sewage. If we return hopefully that's been fixed and I'll be happy to changemy review. However the floors seemed like they hadn't seen a mop in awhile and the glass on the door as well as windows were allsmudged--it just didn't leave the impression that cleanliness is important here. This is a good brunch restaurant. They do their benedicts well and have a good menu for brunch. Sweet tea is good. Lemonade... overly sweet. Table style is questionable. All of the benedicts were delicous and chicken extra crispy. Be ready to leavestuffed and overloaded on carbs. They also won't seat you until your whole party is on site. Finally made into a seat and it was amazing the food and drinks to die for, and if that wasn't enough the cleaniness of the... restaurant was amazing as in look up at the free view exposed decor is just beautiful, staff if current on the food and style,so catch a ride and ETERNALLY devour the sunshine taste! This was a cute tiny spot we got lucky to find. The wait staff was new and training and so so nice. The specials looked amazing,... but we decided to order off the also amazing looking menu. I got the chicken and gravy Benedict and my bf got bananas fosterFrench toast. Both amazing!! Will come back next time we visit for sure! Read more
Last weekend some of my family came in town for a visit; and my sister looked up this place online to eat breakfast. We were not... disappointed, as this place was so delicious! The cinnamon pancakes were the best I have ever had! The only thing that could beimproved is the size of the restaurant. Understandably, this place was packed; so we could not hear eachother talk. This is thereason I only gave 4 stars instead of 5. I do wish there were more coffee choices, or atleast creamers or syrups. The staff,especially the hostess, was very nice. Also, I loved the greens that were put on the eggs; but a bit of advice for anyone takingtheir food in a to-go box; remove the greens first. Sadly, they go bad quickly, & put a pungent odor & taste on the entire box.Overall, it was a great restaurant, & I will be returning! Read more
I?m in Wilmington for the weekend and heard of this restaurant so I decided to try it out. The food was amazing! I got the... blueberry danish french toast with scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon. The bacon was cooked to my liking without me having totell them! And I could definitely taste all the different flavors in my French toast! I will be back again. Read more
