I called in a large order for 12 people and was told there was an 18% gratuity. Fine whatever. Seems stupid for carry out but... whatever they need to do to get more money. I picked up and paid in cash. But when I reconciled the receipts they didn?t havethe %18 forced gratuity on the receipt! When I called they said they couldn?t write it on my receipt. Who doesn?t give receiptsfor a cash payment? I said I either need my cash back or proof in a receipt. And he hung up on me. When I called back, he saidwe have your money but we aren?t going to wait for you! So I had to drive all the way back to the forum from Greenfield lake. Ihate this restaurant. So many fantastic restaurants in Wilmington. Don?t waste your time and money at ?Epic? The only thing epicis how awful they are to their patrons. Thiefs. Read more
Epic Food company hit the spot. They have insanely fresh and high quality ingredients, and everything tasted excellent. I... created my own bowl, and I was impressed by how great and high quality the food was. The shrimp was good sized and tastedamazing. The service was great- friendly and laid-back. My only negative is that for what it is, the cost is high. I'd come backhere again though. Read more
This place had been on my list of places to try for a while now. I am glad that took the chance to come today. I was thoroughly... impressed with the amount of gluten free and vegetarian options! Today I got the Thai bowl and I was impressed. It had a greatpeanut sauce over top and the sweet potato chips were awesome. Delicious! I had the Thai bowl due to my gluten sensitivity issues, and it was phenomenal! My only complaint is that there... wasn't enough of that amazing peanut sauce. I also grabbed a slice of the GF carrot cake on the way out and it didn't have thechalky mouth feel that is so often associated with GF baked goods, it just tasted like a really, outstanding slice of carrotcake. The chicken and shrimp tastes good but the portions are so small for the price. The rice and the rest of the toppings were too... bland. It?s a healthy but over priced option. It looks good though and staff is so friendly. The chickpeas appetizer was ourfavorite! Read more
Epic is by far the best place in Wilmington to get good food that you will feel good eating. I go for lunch a couple times a... week and it has been my favorite place to go for healthy food. Food is fresh and the employees are so nice and friendly. Highlyrecommend! Read more
