In from out of town and was recommended to try Empire. We had a great experience. The fresh bagels were amazing and the... specialty cream cheese selection was excellent. I ended up with the french toast bagel which was smothered with a generoushelping of the Reese's peanut butter cup cream cheese. Fantastic! Ever since this place was sold it has not been the same!! Bagels aren?t fresh and customer service is non existent! My wife and... I have been patrons for almost 10yrs and I don?t believe we will be any more! Dirty gloves on the counter it is really sad causeanytime we had friends come into town we would take them there to get bagels but once again not anymore! My first visit here was a Saturday morning, there were a few people in line, but it moved quickly and I got my order fast as... well. I like to judge a bagel place on there everything bagel with plain cream cheese with the bagel untoasted. The bagel wasvery tasty with a good amount of cream cheese. It had a bit of crisp on the outside, but a bit more toasty on the outside wouldmake it perfect. The cut was also quite off center. I'm looking forward to another visit. Read more
