My wife and I drove down from Raleigh on a day trip specifically to visit this place because we had it saved in our list of... coffee shops. The place is really nice, bright, and clean inside. The service was decent, but the price was a little highercompared to other coffee shops of similar drink orders which can be common. They do not serve hazelnut, but my wife reallyenjoyed her hot vanilla latte though. I enjoyed my iced Chai Latte although it tasted a little watered down or a little moretasteless as soon as I got it, which wasn't a deal breaker because it was still good. Next time I'll try a hot version. Otherthan that we enjoyed our visit and plan to come by again when we come back down to visit the beach. Read more

Missed the mark in all areas for the price, cool business story but I feel they're riding Mayfaire's coattails. 2 Miniature... drinks and 2 small food items cost over $40 with tip. Wasn't any better than Starbucks, For a slow Mid Morning Sunday there wereplenty of open seats but every spot was filthy and the cushions were tired. Annoying paper wax straw broke off in half into mydrink while waiting forever for our food, They were out of bacon, and I'am pretty sure the 16yo kids were just goofing off anddidnt see our order come into the kitchen because there was no other food that had been ordered before or after us. I have been to the Drift downtown many times and loved it. Was really disappointed in my first visit to Mayfaire, however. I... was meeting a friend and ordered my drink 10 min before he arrived and it still hadn't come out. When he arrived and ordered, westill waited, and then my hot drink surfaced no longer even warm, while his iced drink had minimal ice and was warm as well. This is expensive coffee, we both actually felt ripped off and neither of us did more than sip these. It wasn't terribly busy,patrons shouldn't leave feeling disappointed. Read more

Sandwiches were good, coffee tastes like garbage & nothing but stuck up folks trying to get food in here. Make sure you wait and... watch for your food like a hawk because these people will go up and start opening boxes like it's their job putting their handson everyone's food. Staff should really consider putting names or tickets on the boxes so that if someone is in the bathroom andthey miss their name being called they know if it's their food or not. Read more

Drift Coffee has a cute & simplistic interior, and friendly staff who provide quick service. Their holistic beverages are... delicious and unique, and the expresso tonic is simply wonderful! Overall, it's really good coffee but can be somewhat pricey. Read more

Cool coffee shop and smells absolutely amazing walking in. Gave them 4 stars because iced coffee drinks are more expensive than... their hot counterparts??? I?ve had 2 weeks to mull this over in the shower and it just bothers my smooth brain so I figured Iwould write a review. Lovely light-filled spot to chill. Employees are friendly and bright. :) The woman who took my order struck up a conversation... and seemed genuinely interested. Flash cold brew with a bit of simple syrup was delicious. Decor is thoughtful and comfy. EggsBenedict was superb! Read more

Quite little place with great atmosphere. Coffee is fantastic and had in house made elements like the syrup and foam. The... pumpkin latte thing was fantastic! Not overly pumpkin flavored. Price is similar to what you'd see at Starbucks but betterquality in my opinion. They have food too but I didn't try it. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
