I wasn?t excited when my husband chose this little restaurant during our long weekend in Wilmington. I turned up my nose at the... smallish menu thinking I would have to order standard eggs and bacon. My daughter and I decided to split so between us weordered the Bacon Cheddar Scramble and a stack of sweet potato pancakes. The biscuit the savory scramble was on melted in mymouth. I love moist pancakes and they fit the bill. I didn?t need syrup the flavor was so good. My husband enjoyed the BananaPecan French toast but he ate it so fast I didn?t get a bite. Dixie Grill was the perfect find. I?m still thinking about thatscramble biscuit. We may need to go back again before we head home. Read more

Previous times were 5 stars, this one today didn't hit the mark. I suggest making the entrance doors open outward. People kept... getting hit with the door while standing and waiting for a table. Well unfortunately my visit wasn't as amazing as everyone else. Albeit it was crowded...I got seated quickly at the bar as I... was dinng alone. It took a minute to get service and when I got my coffee it was NOT fresh it tasted as if it was sitting formost of the day. Kind of bitter and burnt. When my food came out it was a bit of a wait. My toast was burnt and cold, there wasno butter or cheese in my grits which I ordered, and I ordered a bacon and cheese omelet...it was basically eggs with a wad ofcrumbled bacon and cheese shoved in it and not really edible. The service was so so, once they took my order I never saw theserver again and had to say excuse me multiple times to get anyone's attention. I was so disappointed as I read these amazingreviews. Really great service! The servers were friendly and accommodating. The decor had those 50's vibes, to but comfortable. And the... food.... The food was the star of the show. Everything was well seasoned and came out hot and tasty. All your southern favoriteswere on the menu. I would definitely dinner here again. Read more
