The prices are really good (sandwich, side and huge soda 8.99) and the food was wonderful especially the pulled barbecue... sandwich. What stands out to me was the excellent service and the fact that it wasn't busy on a Friday and I couldn't understandwhy. Read more
Inside experiences have been better in the past? The take out and delivery need to be managed better. The ?second hand? cuts of... meat are given. Two plates worth of brisket for takeout were over half fat, the BBQ had an off odor to it and the brisket chiliwas as roughly 3 ounces not in a separate container and spilled all over resulting in about three spoonfuls worth. Did curbside,gave phone # , car make & color, license # wrong, she came out to look at plate #, we are sitting in front of... store, didn't ask nor called, we sat for 15 more minutes, went inside food sitting on table, gave $2.00 tip, got attitude & noservice, ordered slaw on app, did not receive, had to ask for it. First time I bought their food and paid $1.50 extra for carolina BBQ sandwich and it was DRY!!! NO SAUCE!!! The beans tasted... like it was from a can and the potato salad was like mashed potatoes with mustard!!! Will never go back. I ordered online through Uber eats getting Burnt ends with Texas toast and Mac and cheese fries. When I got it there was a note... on the box stating that they don't have what I ordered and they replaced it with something completely different without tryingto contact me, tell the driver, or just cancel it completely. I called the store and spoke to an older woman who said she wasthe catering manager. Off the bat she had a tone but all I said was I would've preferred they contacted me or cancelled theorder to which she responded they can't do either of those options. (Even though I have had stores call and cancel before). Sheclaims they replaced the burnt ends with brisket but it looks and taste like pulled pork and I've never seen a brisket thatlooks like pulled pork before. The Mac and cheese is watery like previous reviews state and the fries were soggy (which I admitcould've been from the drive over). The "Texas toast" they replaced with a Hawaiian roll I could've bought from the storemyself.
