First time here at the Country Chef Restaurant, unfortunately our experience was tarnished by incredibly slow service. It took... nearly 30 minutes for our order to be taken. By the time our orders were taken the restaurant was out of the first three items Iattempted to order from the menu. It was a tough first impression. This is clearly a beloved local breakfast place. The staffseemed to their patrons. Seating here consisted of booths and four top tables. Food was tasty, although my order came outwrong. I informed my server and they said, "well, I told them, it's not my fault because I wrote it down." Our server then tookthe step to show me they had written down my order correctly. It was a very strange interaction. My son enjoyed hispancakes. The food portions were large. We won't be back. Read more
My wife and I go here for breakfast and they never disappoint. Fast and courteous service, awesome food.

The server was more focused on talking politics with one table than anything else. I don't mind people discussing politics but... calling people offensive names for not backing one side or the other. There were only 3 tables being served and it didn't getany busier during my visit. Home fries were cold, omelette was burned and had the wrong cheese. She asked 3 times what kind oftoast I'd like and I asked for wheat..I got white instead. Maybe if she focused on taking the orders instead of barking aboutpolitics she'd be able to keep a one person order straight. Avoid at any and all costs, I will never return. Country kitchen is a hidden gem. It is located just outside of the big retail type places along route 38 Tewksbury. I have had... the spicy vegetable omelet, it was made with the freshest ingredient, egg were fluffy and delicious. There perfectly done handcut home fries where the ultimate side included along with your choice of toast of with many types to choose, I picked sourdough. Service was fast, coffee hot and waitress ready to top off your coffee. This is my place for breakfast from hereon. My omelet was perfect. Came out under 10 mins. Service was fast and efficient.
This place looked nice. But the waitress was rude. The food was okay. My eggs were horrible everything else was ok and that?s an... understatement. I couldn?t order what I wanted to order because it was weekend only so that was a big disappointment. They gaveme the wrong bread with my meal. It was very over priced. I will not be coming back.
