A few years ago I raved about this place. A few weeks ago we came back. The host seemed nervous/new. Inside was newly... renovated. Steaks looked and tasted weird. Certainly a great steakhouse. I had a great time. I got the prime rib. They make sure your steak is done how you like it when... it's brought out for your sake and thier own. Service was timely and the waitstaff was very friendly. I debated between 4 and5 stars only because of the price. When spending over 50$ on a steak being really good Is the expectation. They deliver on that.My expectations were met. Ultimately I cant find anything to really complain about that effects the experience itself. Read more
Well, for all the hype... it was just okay. Very pricey; our beef fillet was WAY under done. Cesar dressing was so vinegar... tasting it was left uneaten. For the prices I expected good food prepared to order. NOPE The staff is nice. Read more
Lamb Chops were great, as was the spinach and goat cheese salad. My wife enjoyed the Steak Edmund. My Martini was good, but my... wife's White Russian was not great, as the bar ran out of Kalua. They likely should have disclosed that and suggested anothercocktail. Read more
Walter's never disappoints!! We stopped in yesterday evening for dinner without a reservation. The hostess was very kind and... looked at her schedule to see if we could be squeezed in...Ultimately she offered us a booth up front. Out meal was fantasticand our waiter was perfect! Such a great night out and if I didn't mention it... The meal was A+. Tender steaks... Fresh saladswith the best house dressing... and delicious warm baked bread!! Yummy... Read more
There were 2 of us for dinner on a rainy Tuesday night. The place was pretty full at 7 PM which is a testimony to the cuisine.... Good wine list a top rate bar that was full the entire time we were there. We both had a king cut prime rib and the meat wasperfectly done and delicious. Terrific menu with something for everyone and prices in line with this quality of food. The onlysticky point was a waitress wasn't very attentive and not very good at being a waitress. She had a table of approximately 10people so she was far more invested in a guaranteed gratuity then in servicing the small tables she had, which isunfortunate. One other thing patrons should be aware of .... there is certainly a parking issue .... you need to get lucky andfind a spot on the street nearby ..... and hopefully don't get a ticket or get your car towed. I'll certainly be back but ifit's just 2 of us,, then I'd sit at the bar and order a meal. If it were 3 or more, I'd make sure I didn't get the same girl asa waitress. Read more
