I just don?t understand how this is considered toasted. Maybe it was for a moment in the toaster but its still soft and mushy as... if it weren?t toasted at all. What?s the point. Absolutely love this place! The staff os super friendly and helpful, always delicious food and the order is always right. Great... prices and awesome selection. Update: sad how things can change in 2 years. It's great to see a small business grow but if theyare unable to manage growth. The growth then becomes detrimental to their success.you can't call ahead to place in an order asthe phone is permanently on busy dial, when you go in to place an order they tell you 35-45 minute wait and somehow when you getyour order it is always wrong. The food quality is still good, the staff still helpful the issues are with the size of thekitchen and amount of orders they are able to push out on a residential size flat cooker. Management and ownership needs toinvest in their business before the negativity of wait times and incorrect orders ends them. Read more

Edit: Despite the owner's comment below, the lox cream cheese is still a disappointment. It simply doesn't taste like lox at... all. In what I spread on my bagel, I observed maybe 3 or 4 tiny fragments of lox. I get lox cream cheese all the time in theplaces I note below AND regularly in New York, and they all have way more visible lox and lox flavor. It just seems verymiserly. This is what my whole wheat everything with lox cream cheese looked like. I double checked just to confirm that's whatI indeed got. They said that's just what the lox spread looks like. Not a scintilla of lox to be seen or tasted in the spreadnor of fiber to be found in the bagel. Had I ordered a regular everything with plain cream cheese, this would have tasted great,but this was rather disappointing. I order this combination at lots of different places around - Manhattan bagels, Eisnteinbros, Newark deli and bagels, etc - and they're all far and away better. Read more

The bagels are good but that?s it. They seemed to be focused mostly on quantity and the quality suffers. Solid bagels, nothing... special. The cinnamon raisin bagels are sad. Consistently 2-4 raisins in the bagel every time, very little flavor. Read more

Food is ok - at best. But the wait is atrocious! Told 30 minutes for a toasted bagel, waited almost an hour. Meanwhile, you can... watch the lazy employees on their cellphones just standing around. Read more

This place has AMAZING FOOD AND AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The employees are always so friendly and cheerful. The reason for... the 1 star is because of the way that the employees are treated. In the winter there is no heat and they have to cook withwinter jackets on to keep warm. A small space heater is not an adequate source of heat when the front door is opening andclosing because this place have so much volume and is always packed. Now that it is summer there isn't any air conditioning forthem. They are given a fan now so now it is a convection bake oven in there for the employees. It is unhealthy and unsafe. The front door propped open is there only opportunity for air flow. The workers come to work everyday seems like they nevercall out they are always working so hard and hustling. Maybe the tip money that the owner takes from them could pay for theelectric bill if he ever decides to get the HVAC system fixed. Just saying... Read more
