Overall the pizza was good. My only qualm was the sauce lacked flavor. The crust on the other hand was perfect. Their sushi was... mediocre. We were not impressed with the taste and its lack of freshness. Maki's customer service was phenomenal. They werepolite, kind, and welcoming. Read more
The food was great. A little pricey but reasonable for a minor splurge. The food is very specific so sharing may be difficult... if you have different tastes. The "personal" pizza is too big to eat in one sitting so if you're not going home right after, itmight go to waste. I'd like to see more personal sized options available. But, I would go back for sure. Read more
Listen!!!! I travel, I especially travel for great food. This little piece of Heaven is in a part of Delaware I never knew... existed. However, staff is super inviting and their food is hands down done right! You want pizza or sushi done right with freshingredients and love in every bite; this is the place. A friend referred me to Pizzeria Maki. I went last night and was greeted by a friendly staff who were passionate about their... offerings. I ordered two pizzas and took them home. They both were well made, the crust was fresh, and the toppings wereexcellent. I will pass by at least four other pizza places to get my pizza from then from now on. I'm also a sushi fan so I lookforward to trying that too. I suspect it will be excellent also. Nice job guys! Read more
Really really impressive food! My family would go to Maki for just their pizza and would go just their sushi but they have both!... Amazing! Thank you for solving a few of our meal choice debates! Stopped on our way home from Valley Garden Park. Pizza & Sushi?Yes! What a crazy genius combo and done well. We got a variety to... try it all out and have to say nothing was a let down. Good pizza with fresh ingredients, the Bacon Brie knots were AMAZING. Andthe sushi was delicious. Very generous with the tuna. In our home pizza has been a Sunday lunch tradition for years, but over the past year we decided to change things up with ?Sushi... Sunday.? We were excited to have a spot that does both really well. The Sushi is really fresh and tastefully assembled. Thepizza is evenly portioned with a nice crust thats fully cooked and can handle the weight of any amount of toppings. Staff extremely friendly, many items to order on the menu. I ordered the crunchy tuna roll. I received cooked (Bumblebee?) tuna... in drenched in some sort of mayonaise type sause on top of a bed of rice for $18. (image). To end on a positive note thepizza's looked good. Read more
