Listen. I've been around the world trying different vegan restaurants and this one is hands down the best. I don't know how many... times I said "Oh my God" while biting into my food. We had the "Philadelphia International" (cauliflower bites), the "BroadStreet Bully" (V-Cheezesteak) and the "Patti Labelle" (oyster mushrooms & a waffle). Everything was absolutely delicious! Theservice was also excellent and super friendly. We were greeted by the owner in such a nice way, you cannot help but feelwelcome. Bonus points for good music and a beautiful interior. Not just the best Vegan Restaurant in Delaware, but one of the best spots in Delaware period. Friendly, inviting crew that has... created plant-based versions of traditional comfort foods. The owners Shawn and Charmayne will greet you, seat you and stop byto make sure everything is perfect, which it is consistently. I was referred to this place in my new hometown of Delaware from Philly... And it didn't disappoint!!! Where can you go to eat... and you walk in the door and the place doesn't have an unpleasant odor? Go Vegan_Philly that's where! The food is healthconscious and taste amazing!! I got their E.V.E. last visit. It was the most delicious sandwich to eat. The oyster mushrooms were crunchy and flavorful. Their... custom sauce added boastful taste, despite being a bit overwhelming. Their payment system was quick and easy. The experience wasdelightful overall. Read more
For the convenience of it being right around the corner about 8 to 10 minutes away from my house, the hospitality of the owner... and other workers and the prices that aren't too expensive for vegan food {because we all know vegan food is normallyexpensive}; this place is a win-win for me. I'm not vegan but I think I know good food and good flavors and this place has both! Beats going all the way to Philly, Baltimore, or somewhere else for vegan food any day. The food was delicious. Fresh fruit drinks . This is a BYOB establishment. The young owner spoke with us and took a picture with... me. He expressed his desire to open another restaurant in the DMV/DC area. Their impossible burger tastes like the realmeat. Highly recommend. Read more
