Their food has lost its once amazing quality. Now when you go to the drive thru, you have to remind them you need plates,... utensils, even salsas. If you don't ask, you don't get but the plain chicken. Update as of July 23rd 2022. Someone needs to firethe person responsible for having this restaurant stocked. I decided to give it another go and el pollo loco was out ofchicken!!! It's like saying McDonald's was out of burgers!!! Their drive thru was extremely slow. It took me more than 30 mins to wait for my order. I had to go inside to wait for my food... since it wasn't ready by the time I ordered. They were out of crunchy tacos too so that also didn't make it a good day to go tothis location. Read more

Drive-thru customers beware. This is the 2nd TIME that el pollo has gotten my order wrong. Drive thru employee was rude and... couldn?t care less about our order. We ordered a three piece meal with broccoli and mashed potatoes. I got home and found outthat they only gave us a two piece meal with mashed potatoes but no broccoli. They couldn?t even give us the correct order sincewe ordered a three piece chicken meal and got only two pieces and no broccoli. Tried calling but they never picked up. Iremember when el pollo loco was a respectable franchise. If you want to eat here, try another location because the staff hereneed retraining. Read more

The drive thru was long, so I decided going in store to order. Turns out it would be the same, the person in front of me had a... long order, totaling about $100+. Instead of giving my order first, which was just the 14 pc meal which the guy also ordered (sothe staff could?ve just gave me that and get another one after), I had to wait more than 20 minutes, uhhh such a waste of time.I suggest just going to the drive thru then. The staff was nice but they don?t understand that not all customers have the timeto wait and they should prioritize small orders if they can, specially if they have a similar order to the large order, justgive that to the small order and fill in later on to the large order while other things from it is being made.
