Very convenient and just down the street from my job, the portions are great and everything tastes fresh and hot. Cooked right... in front of you by a no-nonsense little line cook and you're out the door in 10 mins flat, typically. My only real complaint isthe prices. I understand inflation is a pain but I would probably eat here a lot more if the prices were similar to the placesnear my apartment in the city. Otherwise, fun little hotdog/burger joint. Read more
Been frequenting this local gem for 35+ years, and it's one of the few establishments that will unanimously garner cheers from... all 3 generations of our family. While we most often enjoy the classics, like the Niki, that have been staples on the menusince my childhood, we also love the inspired additions - most notably the milk shakes! On the rare occasion that I forget toinclude all the typical sides that we get in our order, I know I can count on Tony to remind me with a laugh, as he knows ourgo-to favorites...maybe we come here too often :) Love everything about this place, from the food to the dynamic duo of Tonyand Sasha! While entering you may feel you're not in a good place, the truth is that they're gyros and hot dogs are really good. Sometimes... I feel they could refurbish and enslarge the place, but actually it's its location and structure that makes everything evenbetter. Read more
I went for dinner and enjoyed the food. I had a cheeseburger, fries, and a shake. The burger was cooked just right and the... toppings were fresh. I also thought the fries were good. The shake was pretty good, it could have been blended a little more asthere was chunks of ice cream floating. The people were friendly and accommodating. The interior was filled withpictures. What a great spot. In town for a few weeks working. Have stopped in here 3 times in 2weeks to eat. Make sure you try the Niki or... the Waitress Special. The Niki is A Cheeseburger with Gyro meat on top. The Waitress is a grilled Cheese with Gyro meat on top.And of course the Gyros are amazing!!! Definitely drop in and take a seat and enjoy the atmosphere, the food, and the company.Tony is a master with his Carousel of meat. Try the local hot sauce also. Read more
