My husband and I have visited Four Winds more than once for special occasions and each time their service and food does not... disappoint. Most recently, we attended for a birthday celebration. The steaks, 10 oz filet mignon and 26 bone in ribeye withpeppercorn sauce were juicy and flavorful. Green beans along with mushroom and onions a la carte sides did not disappoint.Finished our dinner off with a slice of cheesecake with strawberry sauce. We normally have their creme brulee which is amazingbut the cheesecake was just as good. We've tried several steakhouses across the metroplex but have found that making the 1 hourtrek here is worth it. Read more

Easily my favorite steak house, period. My wife who isn't a huge steak fan always orders a steak here. The steaks are amazingly... flavorful and so tender you can almost cut them with a fork. The menu is a-la-carte. You order your individual steak and thensides for the table (family style). We paid about $130 including the tip. Our bill would have been about $20-$30 less withoutthe adult beverages. My wife and I always came here for special occasions pre-COVID and as we were eating our meal we werediscussing when we might come back next. It's fancy, but you can dress casual. If you want a wonderful meal for a specialoccasion, this is a great place. UPDATE: Every time my wife and I go here, we ask ourselves why we don't come more often. It'smaybe 1.5x - 2x as expensive as a Chili's or Friday's but the food and experience are at least 10x better if not more. You oweit to yourself to eat here. Read more

Was quite excited to try this place based on the reviews, but sadly disappointed. It was quite a trek (1.5 hours/way) for us,... but you never know if you'll like something if you don't try it! Firstly, reservations can ONLY be made by calling, which isslightly inconvenient. Due to their hours, I kept forgetting. We arrived and were seated promptly, which was nice. The ambiancewas very old school steakhouse with literally nothing but wood on every wall. It was fine. They brought out some incredibly warmbread to snack on, which was nice prior to ordering. We ordered the crab cake app and despite my initial hesitation of theorange mustard cream sauce, I was pleasantly surprised. The crab cakes were moist and the sauce provided the perfect amount ofcitrus in each bite. My husband ordered a house salad that came with honeyed pecans, which made for a delightful pre-dintreat. Entrees; I ordered the fried jumbo shrimp with steak fries. The shrimp was crispy as expected, however the steak frieswere a HARD pass. They were absolutely huge and what I thought were not fully cooked through, probably due to the size. Theytasted like mushy bland potatoes, despite being relatively crisp on the outside. I don't know how that's possible. Even the nextday in the air fryer, they were still meh. Tasted like there was no crystal of seasoning. I'd give it a 2/5 because I likeshrimp. My husband ordered the 26 oz bone-in ribeye with a side of au gratin potatoes and glazed carrots. Let me just say myhopes were crushed with this dish. He ordered it medium rare, but let me tell you, that steak came out so rare I thought it wasgoing to moo. The middle part of the steak was slightly less than medium rare, but to send it back and come out with an overdonesteak was not worth the risk. Also, not a lick of salt on that thing. There wasn't salt on the table either, so he just kind ofate only a few pieces, knowing he'd cook it to the perfect temp and flavor for leftovers the next day. Th Read more

After dining at some of the top Prime Steakhouses across the US, this is an on point joy to find here in East TX. We had a... great Anniversary/Birthday dinner tonight. The Ribeye and Strip were cooked to perfection , and tasted great. The sides weresuper and huge portions. The atmosphere and scenery can't be matched by a Bob's or Del Frisco's. We can't wait to go back. Read more

Our waitress Patty was delightful! She was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Good suggestions and outstanding... service! Our food was amazing. We were so excited about our steaks we dug in and forgot pictures. ???? They were cookedperfectly and the sides were all super good as well! The chocolate mousse has got to be the most mouth watering thing if youprefer chocolate desserts which I do but if you don’t like super rich things the sorbet was good and my husband loved it but Ireally like the chocolate mousse better. It is a bit pricy but you really get your money’s worth in quality of food andservice. The location itself is very cute and you feel like you’re away from everything. Cannot recommend enough.
