Where do you go to get the best fried green tomatoes? The Whistle Stop is fictional, but if it was real it would be called the... Ivy House in Williston FL. The fried green tomatoes are the best! I ordered a 6 piece shrimp and fries lunch to go and a slice of peanut butter pie. At first I wondered if I should have order a... larger shrimp dinner. Then I saw how big the shrimp were and worried I wouldn't be able to finish my meal. Oh my goodness! Itwas SO GOOD! Every single part of that meal was absolutely wonderful! Im so full I feel like I'm about to pop. I DEFINITELYrecommend you try this place if you haven't already and I will be a repeat customer for sure. The place has such a quaintwelcoming feel to it and the staff members are so friendly. You feel like your at grandmas house and she just cooked you a goodold fashioned southern meal from scratch. Warm and welcoming, friendly staff and guests. There's a lot of different Victorian style rooms tochoose for dining in. From a solo, to a romantic experience to a family and friends gathering.
