I had the calzone. It was very dry and the crust was too tough to cut through. We also had the spaghetti and meatballs. They was... okay. Read more
This is a hidden gem in Willis Texas. This is their second location here in Willis and it is very roomy and very well appointed.... She got to go here for the food! We?ve never had a bad meal here everything is outstanding fresh and well-made. This is probablyone of the best Italian restaurants we?ve eaten at anywhere. Do yourself a favor and go get a great meal at a good price! Read more
Got the medium buffalo pizza added spinach, personally LOVED the tiramisu, OH also the spinach dip & personally I thought there... was a lot of cheese & not enough spinach but that?s just my opinion, might?ve needed slightly more seasoning but overall it wasgood, the salad was pretty decent. Server was nice & attentive, came right after Sunday rush, food was quite nice for the price! Read more

Oh, my, can you hear that crispy, crunchy crust? Gosh I wish you could! Crunchy on the outside, tender inside with a nice yeasty... flavor. Great dough that you can watch being spun into crust through the kitchen window?if you?re in the right area. I could eatthe crust by itself, but add toppings and you have a winner! We?ve been here twice while vacationing in the area. The Margheritaand the BBQ Chicken pizza are very flavorful. They use fresh ingredients?though the Margherita could use fresh julienned basil. The 2 of us shared a small salad both times. Caprese or Greek salad, you can?t go wrong. Service has been wonderful?haven?t seenso many young folks working in one place in a long time. Never had to wait for a drink refill, they brought an extra plate forthe salads without being asked?great service. If we lived here, this would be our go-to place!! Read more
Nostalgic style (80's-90's) pizzeria with a great and helpful staff. The food was good and came out fresh, the pizza is quite... good with a premium crust. Caesar salad was fresh and served cold as it supposed to. Just one thing, do Not get the calamari! It's over-priced, over salted, tough to chew, and honestly just terrible. I thought maybe it was just our order but as we wereleaving I noticed that another table didn't even touch their calamari. Great pizza, terrible calamari! Read more
You'd think a restaurant with the word, "Shack" in it in a tiny southeast Texas town would be a bit of a gamble, but this is a... real treat. I was struck by the initial resemblance to Birraporettis in Houston where I used to work in the 80s. The parkinglot was full on a Saturday afternoon which is always a good sign. Although the place was busy I was greeted almost as soon as Iwalked in, and seated shortly afterwards. The staff were very friendly and I could see them chatting with the regulars to makesure everything was well with them. My server was attentive and noticed I wanted a to-go box without me even asking. That levelof attention seemed to be present with all the staff. Ah yes the food. Outstanding. I kept forgetting to wait to eat before Itook a pic. Hope that doesn't distract from the photos. The tiramisu was amazing as was the pizza and wine. I'm glad I stoppedby. I'll do so again soon.
