My favorite place for Chinese food! I order from here most every week. I've lived in Buffalo for the past nine years and I've... ordered from many different restaurants but this location has been the most consistent overall. Generous portions, some uniqueitems, and always delicious. The restaurant is bright and clean, and they often have my order ready in less than 30 minutes. Amazing food! We had the sesame chicken (which was nice and plump white meat, not that over-fried chewy stuff you get... elsewhere), plain lo mein, and wonton soup. Everything came packed nicely (the white rice even had a pretty little "thank you"sticker holding it closed!) and was delicious... even with picky kids! They include complimentary crunchy noodle things, plentyof duck sauce/mustard/soy sauce, fortune cookies, and we were surprised (and delighted) with two fried shrimp vegetable rolls,too! I can't believe we've never been to Sesame House before, as we live close by, but we know where we will be going in thefuture. UPDATE4: They no longer seem to have online ordering, which is a huge shame. :( UPDATE3: I visited here again and the owner had... seen my review and personally apologized for the wrong food order previously. It really wasn't that big of a deal but Iappreciate that they take the time and actually try to correct their mistakes unlike some other restaurants. I hope theycontinue to offer stellar service because they are my favorite in the area. Bumped them back up to a 5-star. UPDATE2:4-star Last time I went here they had messed up the order. Now again I ordered from here and received Chicken Noodle Soupinstead of Chicken Rice Soup and no Fortune Cookie. How will I ever know my fortune?! Unacceptable. I'm a huge fan of Chineseand this is one of my favorite places to go. They have the good crunchy soup noodles where most places just serve those ricenoodles, excellent (actually flavorful) wonton soup, and great pricing for their lunch special. Overall my 2nd or 3rd favoriteplace in the area! Plus the staff when picking up your order are always extremely nice and outgoing. My only complaint is thatfor takout orders they don't give you silverware in the bag, so you have to remember to grab it on the way out. Read more
The food was not to my liking however the owner reached out following my 1 star review and I appreciate his follow up /... handling. I?ve revised to 3 stars as a result. As a note to the owner - I don?t appreciate the investigating you did after thereview listing Facebook friends and my previous addresses. It was pretty creepy and not necessary. Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in buffalo NY!! They are clean, food is fresh and hot every time I order. Sesame House is... the only place I order my Chinese food from. I would never trust any other restaurant other than Sesame House. Keep up the greatwork you guys. Read more
My husband was very happy with sesame chicken, I ordered double cooked pork after reading reviews, was not happy at all. Pork... was like shoe leather with no flavor. Ate the rice and bell peppers..... I would like to add that in no way did I ask forminimal seasoning or more well done pork. I don?t appreciate having my honest review distorted. Only requested to add some heatto the sesame chicken. I ordered online and never spoke to an employee about the food order. Read more
