Pretty unique place. The beer was decent, and the owner was friendly until a couple of his buddies showed up. Afterwhich he... devoted all of his time talking to them about his truck modification. Not joking.. Read more

My dad and I were driving up north and accidentally came across this place. Did not look like anyone was there, walked up the... stairs and knocked on the door. Someone answered and said \"cmon in!\"\n\nThe owner was AWESOME.\nHe is Kind, knowledgeable, personable and shared all the details of what he does.\n\nWe purchased a pound of white German garlic from him and tried a pieceof his homemade black garlic which he also uses to make garlic vodka for Bloody Mary\'s.\n\nWonderful and random experience, going back today on the way home:) Read more

Just an overall fantastic little space. It\'s basically the owner has set up a bar in a spare room of his farmhouse, and brews... beer just because he loves it. Bobby is so welcoming, outgoing, and just a pleasure to have a beer and a chat with. He had thesmoker going out on the porch, cooking up a bit of bbq beans and brats, and offered everyone in my group of 4 a plate (it wasdelicious, by the way!). The brown ale and the IPA I had were great, as well. Just love this place after one stop, and I\'ll besure to be back often. Read more

Old farm house that is a brewery. Bobby brews a great selection of beers but also distills an unbelievable vodka and whiskey. ... If you are looking for something different, he makes a great apple pie moonshine too. The farm house has a bar area and anotherarea with a fireplace and rockers. There is a great covered porch with chairs and several rockers. Very friendly and uniqueplace. Hours are limited to noon to 6pm but he is known to keep the place open a littler later if there is a crowd. Read more

If you pull up to a farm house, don\'t be confused, this is the place. Love this awesome brewery! Great drinks and the owner... (Bobby) is the best. Even his snacks are on point. Those crackers he sells are amazing. On Sunday, he does an amazing brunch.Highly recommend this place if you\'re on a brewery tour or just looking for a good drink and friendly atmosphere. Read more

This is the ULTIMATE dive bar serving craft beer. We were not sure we were in the right place at first as it is down a 2-lane... road off the main drag (Grand River Ave). Even after we pulled in we were unsure and had to ask a patron sitting on their deckwho told us we were there and would not regret stopping in.\nI had the Pale Ale (no branding, I love it!) and it was effingdelicious! One of the best beers in my opinion. Real tasty!\nMy wife had a couple others which I tasted and did not care for,but I am not knocking MBW for them.\nThe place is a real dive, but in a good way. I really dig rundown joints that have greatdrinks, patrons and owners. Speaking of... the owner (never got his name) was such a nice guy. He was hospitable and talked allabout his life with us (he is an older gentleman). He was an absolute gem and I would go back just to talk with him somemore.\nThe place looks like it is a work in progress with no beer menu or prices on the wall. It appears they are working on aneating area (the owner is a smoker officionado) and has a ton of outdoor space.\n\nI really loved this place and highlyrecommend you patronizing. Read more
