Had a lovely experience at Laziza restaurant - a family run restaurant where we stopped by during our road trip. Mohsin at... reception was very kind and helped us pick the best combination with the right sized portions. The whole family welcomed us andasked if we needed anything. They gave lollipops to kids as we waited for our food. We tried Lassi, Chicken Jalfrezi, Tandooriroti, Aaloo naan and Chicken Biryani and each dish was delicious - wouldn't be an understatement if that lassi was the best wehave ever had. And Hersheys ice-cream to top it off was just perfect. Would love to visit again - highly recommended!!! Read more
Food was amazing! Unique flavors. The Naan bread was hot and delicious. Staff was very accommodating and would make the food as... spicy or mild as we desired. Can't say enough good about this place. So glad we have this international touch in our small town.Worth driving to. Read more
Laziza honestly deserves 5 stars just for getting an Indian food joint up, running, and thriving in this area during a pandemic... nonetheless. They’re a great place to take people who haven’t ever been to an Indian restaurant before as they have a lot ofreally great basic Indian staples. The naan bread is so fluffy I could wrap myself in it and die happy. Plus, the people are asfriendly as can be. Give it a try! Read more
We stopped here for a quick lunch while on a road trip. The owner was very welcoming with great service. The food was served in... a reasonable time and was hot & fresh with generous portions. We ordered chicken masala, lamb biryani, veggie pakora and lassidrinks. Everything was amazing and we especially loved the lamb biryani with boneless lamb and fresh ginger…it was amazing.One of our best experiences at a Pakistani/Indian restaurant and we hope to be back on future trips. I have tried more than 50 South Asian restaurants in my time here in the States and this one is the worst so far. Here are... several things worth noting for new customers: 1. The waiter (Name: Aisha) mentioned that the restaurant charge a service chargeof $15 as we entered. We appreciated the heads up, but we observed that as some locals entered the waiter took their orderwithout mentioning about the service charge. Nothing about the service charge was written on the menu and it was added on to thebill seperately. I don't know if this was a scam for tourists. 2. We tried several dishes (see the receipt): Chicken Seekh kebabhad too much garlic Tandoori chicken was sour The ratio of chicken in the chicken biriyani was too less. We were a party of 7and on our opinion the quality of the food was below average. 3. There is one particular incident that really shocked us: Wealso ordered Chilli Chicken. On the menu it said that the dish is going to have bell peppers, herbs and spices in it. When wetasted it, it had so much tomato upto the point that it turned the whole flavor soury.Also to be noted that there weren't anypeppers in the dish. We all gave it a try and none of us could go for a second bite. I complained to the waiter about it beingtoo sour and not matching the description in the menu asked for it to be sent back she said that the menu has not been updated.When we placed the order for another dish, she nagged several times that "that's how American Indian restaurants cook Chillichicken". We got our replacement (or so I thought) after another 20 minutes wait. When we went to pay the bill, to our surprise,we were asked to pay for the dish we sent back and also the replacement dish we ordered. This shocked us. We declined to pay forthat item and paid for the rest and left. In conclusion, I'd never go back to this restaurant even if they were paying for meto eat their food. This place quickly became one of our favorite restaurants in town. Amazing flavors, consistently good dishes, and options that... are actually spicy. We crave Laziza at least weekly. Definitely the best restaurant of its kind within a wide radius. Read more
