Had a wonderful lunch - food was absolutely fantastic and service was 5 star.\n\nDo not walk by this restaurant - get a high end... meal at Applebee\'s prices.\n\nMy wife and I stopped in on a whim. We both enjoy \"risking\" a new restaurant, and so westopped in.\n\nFirst, the service was excellent. We felt like family; great care was taken to explain the menu.\n\nOur mealswere awesome.\n\nMy wife had the beef Chautas, a traditional Peruvian rice dish. The beef was tender and full of flavor. Therice was perfectly seasond, and all vegetables were fresh and well prepared. Everything about the dish was focused on her...from preparation to presentation.\n\nI had a \"Miami Beach\" themed Peruvian dish. Based upon the classic Peruvian LomoSaltado, the Lomo A La Huancaina added a creamy sauce and noodles vice rice. It was amazing. The flavors were perfectlybalanced.\n\nEverything about our meal was memorable. We understand a seasonal change to the menu is upcoming. I know thatwhat ever is on the menu will be just as wonderful.\n\nTake time and support an up and coming chef. PISCO 51 is a greataddition to the regions food adventure.\n\nNow, stop reading and start eating! :-) Read more
Great food experience. I really was not familiar with Peruvian cuisine. I did not know there was a Japanese influence on their... cooking. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. My favorite was the ceviche. The portions are generous. If you are lookingfor something out of the ordinary, this is a food journey you should take. They have a nice purple drink made from purple cornit is non-alcoholic and from what I understand is also good with rum. Read more
We\'ve recently discovered Peruvian food, so were excited to learn of Pisco 51. Chef Pedro has developed an amazing menu, and... says new items are being added soon. We went with friends & started with a round of regular (if you can call them that) PiscoSours, and variety of appetizers to share: Causa Rellena, creamy ceviche, yuca a la Huancaina. For dinner, we enjoyed LomoSaltado and Lomo a la Huancaino and a flight of flavored Pisco Sours with barista style art: llamas, the word Peru, etc. Everylast thing was delicious. We will be back to try the rest of the menu. Chef Pedro and his wife were delightful to talk to, aswas our server. TRY THIS PLACE! Read more
We went on a Saturday night with a group of eight and had an amazing time! To be fair, we went because of the karaoke on the... patio (the DJs were a blast!), but ended up loving the staff, the atmosphere and the food too! I don’t know that I’ve everhad strictly Peruvian food before, but we had the ceviche as an appetizer, flights of Pisco sours, and I ordered the Peruvianpesto pasta with steak as my entrée. Everybody enjoyed their meal, but I am docking a single star because our entrées came outat comically different times and when I did finally get my food, my steak was overdone. HOWEVER, we were having so much fun thatthe wait for the food was not a huge deal and we could tell that the limited staff was struggling to keep up. I will absolutelybe returning and hope to be able to edit my review to five stars at the next time! Read more
