Today I had a turkey burger and a drink. In the past the burgers were thick and big. Today I received a sliver of a burger. It... was good. The toppings were sparse and disappointing. I have gotten the same thing for several years. My bill was right at$14.00. I noticed signs around the register stating half eaten food will not receive refunds. Won?t be coming back. The burgers are overpriced as if they were gourmet, greesy like McDonald?s, and fall apart in an instant.... Five Guys is way better for half the price. Milkshakes are super small for being charged $6.99 and they are basically straightup Ice cream, don?t bother trying to drink it through a straw. My husband, 8 year old and I each ordered a burger, fries andmilkshake and it came out to $75 bucks. My husband and I (locals in this tourist town) stopped in for burgers at lunch on this Labor Day. The fact that we were the only... people there at lunchtime should have been a clue. We asked about the prices of the specialty burgers we saw advertised outsidethe restaurant and the employee at the register provided us a laminated menu without prices. When I asked again, she seemedpained. Finally she told me the prices for the burgers we were interested in ($12.79). Seems expensive for fast food but wesplurged on the burgers, $10 worth of fries and a $7 shake. The fries were good, the burgers were slop and the shake wasoverpriced to say the least. We won?t go there again. Too many other great burgers here in or below this price point (5 guys,Precarious, craft 31, amber ox, second street). Wish we had Mooyah in NC. Love how they have different meat options for your sandwich and that they are keto friendly and vegan... friendly options.
