No frills, well cooked Italian. As a frequent traveler to Italy I was a little hesitant to try a place named ?Larry?s?, but it... was surprisingly good; among the most authentic Italian one can find in Williamsburg. The setting is basic, and the staff wasfriendly. We visited on a Friday evening in December and the place was full before we left. Read more

Easily one of the best Italian subs I have ever eaten. Their homemade rolls are PERFECT -- thick enough to wrap the sandwich... with yummy, toasty bread, but thin enough to have the perfect ratio of bread to sandwich guts. ???? Will DEFINITELY visit againon our next trip to Williamsburg! Read more

We ordered 5 dinners to go. The food was very good, not one mistake and the young lady who took my order was so pleasant and on... the ball. Their sauce is delicious. Will visit again if we come back to Va. Read more

I had the best tasting Marinara sauce ever here! This place is a little slice of paradise in Williamsburg and the food portions... are so generous, complete with salad and bread bites. The service is friendly within a chill, casual, family welcomingatmosphere. I will always make Larry's my go-to Italian restaurant Read more

We called ahead with a party of 12 and they were not only able to set up tables for us but serve us very well. All of the food... was excellent. We had Calzones, pizza, and several pastas. The Chicken Pasta with Vodka sauce was fantastic. They have happyhour on their draft beer from 3-7 for $2.00 a 12 oz glass. Today's special, Thursday, $4.99 margaritas. Read more

We were ready to shout it to Thomas Nelson and Warhill staff and students that we found a great Italian place. We had such great... expectations for this place. Alas it was a disappointment with every dish we ordered. The calamaris tiny little rings in atasteless batter. (See my picture ) when the rings are smaller than the lemon there is something wrong. The fishbait calamari Iuse is larger than this. We ordered two calzones. After taking the first bite what is suppose to be pizza dough taste like whitebread dough. No chewiness or bite to it. Okay so if the taste of the filling is good maybe we can look around this. No, it wasseasonless filling that is hardly there. I cut the calzones open (at eleven dollars a pop) and take a picture of filling thatdoesn't reach the ends and you can see a fewe pieces of meat and veggies. Unacceptable does the management taste and look at itsproduct? Moving on to my hopes held high for the chicken Parmigiano. Sadly no not anything I would buy again. The calzones wentto my dog. I hope their breakfast is better would like to go by and try it out and write a different review. Until then Iwouldn't want anyone to spend money for this. Read more

This was the first time I have been to Larry's Italian Restaurant. I sat in a booth, looked at the specials on the wall and... ordered a $2 beer. That's right...a variety of drafts, including local breweries for only 2 bucks. It's a good start when youare thirsty and hungry. The dinner included warm garlic knots with a perfect balance of garlic and butter. A crisp cool andfresh lettuce salad with blue cheese dressing is what I have been looking for. My main dish was baked spaghetti with meatsauce. Each forkful was steaming hot and delicious and I knew it was much more than I could eat. That's alright though, I tookit home and enjoy it again latter. Read more
