It was a very quiet Saturday afternoon. It took a minute to get seated and I was worried. But it all turned out great. The Cuban... sandwiches were awesome. The staff was personable and attentive. They took time to listen to my 80 year old mother tell storiesabout eating Cuban sandwiches as a kid in Ybor City in the 50s, and traveling through Cuba on a mission trip. Finally tried this place out and will definitely be returning. Our server was absolutely lovely and I adored the ambience and... the music. Startimg off, the cocktails were great. As foe food, the combo that came with empanadas, croquettes, and yucca frieswas our favorite handsdown. Hubby and I were fighting over the dipping sauces. Next favorite was the tostones rellenos withbeef, so good. Our least favorite of the order, though still tasty, was the matajibaros con masitas. This dish had a greatflavor but the plantains and the pork chunks had spent a little too much time in the fryer and were really dry. I'm so happy tohave found a great Cuban restaurant and am looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu. We also want to checkout the Latin dance nights. Read more

My husband and I had a wonderful casual dinner on the patio. The service was outstanding and atmosphere was perfect for a warm... summer evening. Wow. That’s all we can say. I had a dr appt with my favorite ENT in Williamsburg, so I looked up different restaurants near... here. We decided on this Cuban restaurant. We had empanadas that were amazing along with the chimichurri dipping sauce. ThenI had the Pan con Lechon sandwich and hubby had the Cubano. They were so good. Yucca fries too! We will definitely be comingback here. We both only are 1/2 of our sandwiches so we are getting the rest to go. And of course I am asking for a cup of thatchimichurri sauce to go!!! Read more

All of the stars please. - incredible service - great atmosphere - best Cuban I’ve ever had The pork is so important with a... Cuban. Theirs is perfect. Moist, flavorful , phenomenal texture. There is no doubt this restaurant puts care into everyingredient and you can taste it. I’ve had so many Cuban sandwiches and nothing comes close.
