I had the Surashi bowl/Don. For dessert I had the Cassava cake. The rice was done expertly. The fish were excellent cuts of... fish and fresh. Great texture and firm. I took my time eating it so the enjoyment would be longer. I arrived about an hourbefore closing and they were warm and welcoming, not like some other restaurants in this area. I wasn't rushed and spent a goodhour there, leaving about ten minutes before closing. There were no sounds of the kitchen shutting down or things beinghurriedly put away. No coming out to mop the floors in an attempt to get you to go home. OH and the restaurant was very cleanand inviting. Even though they sold sushi, it did not smell fishy or have that heavy scent of fried oil. I had a great time andhope to be back soon. Read more

Visiting Williamsburgh area from NYC and we stumbled across this amazing gem of a restaurant! It doesn?t look like much from... the outside but the food was exceptional. There were 8 of us and no one was disappointed with their order. We came back twomore times and no complaints at all. By far the best restaurant we have been to in Williamsburg area. This place is a nice small restaurant, with a lovely staff and amazing food. They have a huge menu that?ll fit any diet (fit me... as a vegan with a great veggie roll) and they seem to be a small family owned business. The restaurant itself is very prettyand after breaking a cup which you?d expect to make the staff angry, the woman who was serving us was so kind and didn?t seem tomind. Because of the pandemic I had to get takeout and it was soooooooo good! I appreciated that they took the care to remind me to... "eat right away" because it was fresh and hot. I got tonkatsu ramen and tempura shrimp. The best tempura shrimp (and sauce) I'veever had! The pork in the ramen was tender and the ramen broth was perfect.
